If an evil fairy said you had to remove the part you liked least, what would it be? I think I could give up the teeth. He doesn’t show them that much, so it’s not that big of a loss.

I held his hand for a few long seconds, so I’ll choose something else. I want to say his neck/chest area which he always keeps exposed, but I’ll go with shoulders since that will count for a hug.

Aw, I don’t think he was fugly in his youth. He wasn’t handsome but he could still draw your attention just based on his aura. But I agree, age has been so so so kind to him. Back in the day, people would have definitely placed him at the bottom in terms of looks compared to his contemporaries like Salman and Aamir. But I think that’s shifted dramatically now. SRK is clearly The Handsome One now compared to the other guys whose looks have really faded badly. Imagine if he didn’t smoke heavily – he would have looked even better.
Also I don’t like all this soft tummy business. I think his looks have increased dramatically because he looks so much fitter now. I don’t like prominent abs and the weird starving look but a hard body for a guy is way better than a soft one.

I love combinations like his eyes with the eyebrows, his collarbones with the jugulum between, his hands with the arms, the line from his shoulders to the hips, his mouth (lips, teeth, tongue) especially with the lopsided grin or the ironic smile, the lining of his chin to the dimples, his forehead with the hairline/hair, his ears with the line of his face or neck…
If I have to choose among the parts you listed, it would be eyes, hands, skin.
I would like to touch the jugulum, change the discoloured index-nails and remove the abs. 🙂

Great topic for a Friday night! I’m so glad you included teeth this year! They are one of my favorite parts because they add so much structure to his lips and face generally. And they’re perfectly imperfect. I love that he has so many different smiles and that he bites his lip/s often.
I can’t pick only a few parts, but I think my favorite thing about him physically is just how at home he is in his body, his natural athleticism. When is remote smelling going to be a thing? He’s joked about that with fans on Twitter, that Red Chillies vfx is working on.
I am totally for replacing the abs with the little soft tummy.
If I could touch one part. Hmm. Full body hug would be my first wish. Then, I’d like to hold and kiss his hand.

Good point! He has a natural joy in movement has been there since the beginning, leaping around and running and jumping. And it’s still there in JHMS, the way he jumps up and down stairs or moves in the dances.

I don’t know, he looked so terrible in the end of Veer-Zaara, it makes me nervous. That was probably just bad make-up, but maybe he has one of those faces that can’t carry off grey hair?

Skin changes along with the hair, which is why young actors usually look awful in gray wigs. (And why I can now wear pastels that used to wash me out.) He’ll be fine. And I do mean FINE. Check our old dudes with dyed beards (and worse yet, eyebrows) and you will see how bad that can be. Thank heaven, he has not succumbed to dyed eyebrows.

I just rewatched Jab Tak Hai Jaan and his beard is natural colored in the second half. Variegated, a mix of brown, red and blonde or gray. As it should be. Give me a grown man in his prime, over a pretty puppy, any time.

I don’t know if you guys have seen it but once Karan Johar talked about meeting SRK in the early years and how he was trying to be his stylist. Apparently someone had told him (a neighbor or friend? I forget) that SRK has a great butt and he never emphasizes it so Karan started telling SRK he should wear tight pants and focus on that and that was real advice he was trying to give. SRK was extremely shocked and embarrassed, hahaha.

Wow! I spent so MUCH time looking at all the pictures then imagining which I liked best. He really is a sum of all parts. On someone else, maybe the nose is too big, but not on him. He has described his eyebrows as S-shaped (and they are) but on him it works. Sophia Loren was once told her nose was too hooked and her mouth was too big. But put it all together and she was drop dead gorgeous. That’s what I mean about him being the sum of all parts. On someone else it would look different, but on him it’s PERFECTION. If I could change anything about him it would be to make him a couple of inches taller as all the newer actresses tower over him. But he’s so sexy, he cuts them down to his size.

Height would be good except, like you said, it’s kind of nice to see how he handles the height difference with his actresses. Makes him seem extra confident that he just doesn’t mind.
