Happy Saturday! No new movies to watch this weekend, so I have all kinds of free time to do all kinds of errands. Fun fun!
Then home again and take Albie Dog to the dog park so he can run off some of his doggie energy, then take him home and zip off to acupuncture. Then back home, say “hi” to little Albie Dog, pack up all my laundry and take off again to wash it. So much laundry! I bought new underwear last week which extended my time between washes to a full 3 weeks. That’s a lot of shirts, socks, underwear, and pajamas. I really need to do some serious culling of my wardrobe and consideration of my life choices.
Finally, back home for good, and time to get serious about finishing my quilting square that I have to hand in at the meeting on Monday night. I can do this! And no one needs to know I procrastinated about it for two weeks!
And then off to bed so I can get up tomorrow and do the Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Lage tweetalong! Which I really hope some of you will be following because otherwise I just feel so silly tweeting into the void.
Now, while I am doing all those things, talk amongst yourself about whatever you want. For example:
Kat and Vicky Kaushal are rumored to be dating! Do we believe this? Do we support this? Is he good enough for her?
Sanjay and Madhuri gave a nice-nice happy-happy interview at the Kalank trailer release, are we buying this “all friends now, no hard feelings” vibe?
Dabangg 3 is official a prequel, meaning Salman is playing even younger than in the other two films. Bad idea, or worst idea?

I’m definitely pro Kat and Vicky Kaushal. They look so good together, and he seems to be a nice guy. Why not?

I think he’s a few years younger than her, and his family isn’t as powerful as I might like. Plus, his career looks good now, but it could always turn the Vivek way. I don’t know, I just want more for Kat!

He’s five years younger, I checked when I was casting them as superheroes. They’re cute and go Kat, dating a beautiful younger man. If the moment on the Zero promo tour where she said she hadn’t been asked on a date in ten years was true, then maybe Vicky stepped up, and good for them. Let them have fun :).

I suppose, I just worry she is going to end up settling for the first guy who asks. sure, right now Vicky is looking good, but can he keep it up long term? “It” meaning his looks, his career, the whole thing.
On the other hand, if it all works out and two years from now Kat is marrying her boy toy/the hottest actor in Hindi film, I will be SO HAPPY.

I am excited for Kat and Vicky! Though, there are all those stories about Vicky dumping his GF because he is a big deal…but if you have to trade up to build your career then good choice!
I have no problem with Salman’s age…not like it matters…25 or 55…his character is going to do the same exact thing…so if I have to watch him fight and romance…might as well pretend he is young…

But I want Kat to be the one trading up! Only, after Salman and Ranbir, I’m not sure who there is for her to trade up too. If she and Vicky stay together, and he ends up being the next big thing, that would be very satisfying though.

Something about the way Vicky looks at Kat reminds me of the way RS looks at Deepika. Honestly, after everything she’s been through with the bhai and the manchild, Kat deserves a man who adores the ground she walks on. If Vicky is that guy, and he seems pretty smitten to me right now, then bless them both.
