How are these discussion posts getting more traffic than anything else I have put up in weeks???? Is it possible we are all terribly shallow? Naaaaaaah, surely not!
You know how there is the hero, and then there is the hero’s friend? Or brother? Or guy from work? And sometimes you find yourself thinking “oooo, forget the hero, this friend/brother guy is way WAY hotter”? This post is to discuss those times.
I’ll start!
Shashi Kapoor in every Shashi-Amitabh movie
Technically I guess they were supposed to be co-leads, but Amitabh tended to dominate the film and the script. Only of course, Shashi was hotter!
Mohnish Behl in Hum Aapke Hain Koun
I’ll call Maine Pyar Kiya a tie for Mohnish-Salman, but HAHK had Salman without the curls and the shirtlessness and it wasn’t even close. Mohnish all the way!
Chunky Panday in Tezaab
Maybe it’s just me, but Chunky was really really good in this! And Anil was really really not sexy. So it’s Chunky for the win.
Okay, who are your choices? Or do you feel the need to defend Salman’s honor in Hum Aapke Hain Koun? Any other comments?

I haven’t watched many Shashitabh movies, except Kabhi Kabhi and Deewar. But that doesn’t matter since IMHO, Shashi is always the hottest ever, in every movie. Brother, lover, husband or father, he’s the hottest.
Chunky Pandey was definitely the hotter guy in Tezaab. I saw the movie years ago on tv but I still remember how good he looked.

I haven’t seen HAHK but I saw Hum Saat Saat Hain and there Mohish was without doubt the best brother.
Naveen Polishetty was ok in Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, but when in the middle of the movie Suhas came I was like: oh finally the movie became interesting.
Pankaj Tripathi in Newton as a tough soldier was stealing every scene he was part of.

Completely agree with everyone who says Shashi is sexier than his best friend Amitabh, but perhaps to make up for it I found Amitabh sexier than Rajesh Khanna in Anand. Maybe he’s supposed to be, since Rajesh is dying and all, but Amitabh is just generally more interesting and attractive.

Also the hair style I find weirdly compelling. Nice combed down, what is called 70-30 in Japan. (70% on one side of the part, 30 on the other). Before he did the 70s thing. He looks so young and serious and cute and earnest.
