Game Post! Let’s Play ANTAKSHARI!!!!

Woo-hoo! Game time!!!! This is kind of like the alphabet game, but it’s with song lyrics and you get to end where ever you want. Like, you can end at the end of the first line, or somewhere random in the middle of the chorus.

I’ll start!

“Tujhe Dekho To Yeh Jana Sanam, Pyar Hota Hai Deewana”

Okay, “Deewana”!!! You go!

  1. Okay, just to clarify the rules, do you want us to start a song with “Dewaana” or start a song with the last letter “na?” I assume the former.

    • Yes, the former. I am trying to make this easy for the non-Hindi speakers.

Although if the Hindi speakers end up breaking off and turning this into a Varsity match, that would be fine too.

      • Can you tell, I am so excited about this game? Okay I will start and make it really easy. “Deewana dil beqarar tha, Jiska mujhe intezaar tha, Deewana dil . . . .” “Dil” go.

          • HA! I love it. I really hope others join in but for now, I am having fun and this is a perfect silly end to my day.

“Pagal hua hua hua, Deewana hua hua hua, O jane mujhe yeh kya hua, Pagal hua hua hua, Deewana hua hua hua; O jane mujhe yeh kya hua; O ladka tu ek phataka, Ladki . . . .” “Ladki” go!

      • Yay! Thanks for playing this, shreyansgoenka! Okay, I will give you/Margaret two as a thank you for participating.

In honor of Ramesh Sippy Month, “Hain na bolo bolo, hain na bolo bolo; Papa bolo bolo, mummy bolo bolo; Papa ko mummy se, mummy ko papa…” “Papa”

        Or if you would like

“Hain na bolo, dil ye mera kho gaya; hain yeh kya ho gaya, ye kaise ho gaya, yeh. . . ” ‘Yeh”

  2. Stupid me…I didn’t realise that no song can start with “hoon”, so – as the lyrics go “Dosti Ke Geet Main Gaata Hoon Chale Aao Chale Aao” I end with “Aao”. (I even could present a song starting with it (from Stree), but I pass the baton on to somebody else (if wanted) 🙂

  3. Fine! So I can still post the Stree song (if you know the animation picture Coco you know why there is something that reminds me the Pixar film):
Aao kabhi haveli pe Aaye haaye! aa gaya, aa gaya! (aa gaya for the next one…and I have already one in mind…)

    • Oups, forgot to give another word…well, there is a lot of aa gaya first, then many english words and then “Aa gaya aa gaya dil churaane main”…so, I end with the easy “main” 🙂
