Ready for PICTURES?!??!? I am just so proud.
First, my bed/sofa

Then my new desk/office! Had to take the doors all the way off the closet to get it out, but so worth it.

And then the bureau/TV stand with my little SRK photo on it.

Guest seating, of course

And then whole thing together! First the window side of the room, so you can see the nice “HI!” we put on the window for neighbors.

And then the other way, so you can see my nice “front hall” with bathrobe and coat hanging up.

And of course, my roommate, Albie Dog! He looks all settled in, right?

I like the window HI!

I do too! I don’t know how many people can see it, since I face the alley, but it lifts my spirits.

Yes, absolutely, the “HI!” is such a cute move! Thanks to let me/us know your private space, Margaret. Your main furniture shows the affection you have for the history of your family. And I also love the inventive way you use to build what you want for yourself 🙂

I’m real pleased, the room feels like “mine” now.

Lovely room 🙂
I’m curious where Albie is sleeping: in your room or some other place?

In my room, he’s got a pillow on the floor. It’s a very gross pillow by this point, but of course that’s why he loves it.

Looks like a lovely hideaway from all the weird in the world. Plus when you need to, you can pretend your parents aren’t there! Best of both worlds to have them on the next rooms but your own space.

Exactly! The rest of the apartment is their space, but my room is where I can just hide out and be me. Tonight they are doing a Zoom call with church, and I am planning to watch a movie with Netflix party with a friend.

Margaret, feel free to delete if you want – not trying to do any kind of commercial, but my friend/dance teacher is doing live Zoom BollyPop classes so it seems appropriate for this group. It’s the MOST fun. Like Zumba but with music we all love! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9m4hMWp7IpvjPjSHGp_xM8hJkqdx4mD_uFR_tGjROBDRr_w/viewform

I’m trying to get inspired to set up my ‘office’ space in the garage. We’ve been in the house 6 months. I think it will help me to move forward on my production and funding schedule if I feel like my space is there to work in. Hard to motivate at the moment and so much school! Next week is spring break (as it were) so it will be more flexible I think.

Well, part of setting up my “office” space was getting the desk out of the closet where it had been put literally 10 years ago “temporarily”. And then somehow it never came out again until this week. Not having a home office set up after only 6 months is NOTHING!!!!
