Yaaaaaay! Party time! 43 is a nice solid number, isn’t it? Firmly within the 4th decade, no question about it.
43 years ago, my parents got up first thing in the morning.
And they left the apartment they shared
Met up with my Dad’s college roommate who flew in for the wedding
And my Mom’s former roommate from her apartment after college.
And then they went off to a church and got married.
And then they had a wedding breakfast at the restaurant above the bar that Cheers is based on.
And now it’s 43 years later! I don’t know what they will decide to do to celebrate tonight, but I know yesterday they took sidewalk chalk and went out and drew on the sidewalk.
Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!

My parent’s 50th anniversary is less than two weeks away. I’m jealous that you get to be with your parents. The world won’t end because I can’t be with them, but I’m sad. We had a big celebration last year, so if I’ve learned anything, I’ve learned that celebrating things early is awesome. I like your folks’ chalk drawings, maybe I should send my parents some chalk.

Chalk is fun!
The nice thing with my parents is they never want a fuss for their anniversary. For their 40th, I think they just went out for a nice dinner together. So it’s not like they are missing out on a big party or anything this year.
