Friday Watchalong time! The best part of the week! It’s spring break in some places which I think is affecting attendance this week (parents gotta parent), but I am super excited about our film choice!
Aaina! 90s fun times with Juhi and Amrita Singh and naked Jackie Shroff! Why so naked Jackie? Why always so naked?
Oh, and it is free on Prime, or you can rent it for like a dollar on youtube.

Sorry. I had to step away for a bit because the dog needed to go out and work needed something. Being a grown up is so hard.

Living at my parents again, I never have to step away. Mom brings in folded laundry, Dad takes away my dirty dishes, it’s great. Being a grown-up is for suckers.

NOOO! Juhi, don’t make yourself ugly again!

I was just about to say that! Why are you instantly going back to being dowdy?! Be pretty for yourself, Juhi!

Yes! Find a better man! One who has a better fashion sense than Jackie.

I love Jackie’s one twirly bang on his forehead.

It’s so Juhi has something to play with.

Anyone else thinking about the end of Dhoom 1?

I’ve seen Dhoom 2 & 3, but I never saw Dhoom 1!

I think cutting your wrists even in front of people is still a pretty strong cry for help….

Jackie is kinda twisted in his methods, not gonna lie

He’s kinda an ass.

And yet, somehow, this is the ONLY movie, where I have found him attractive… all because his flirting is just so hot.

Jackie and Amrita both need some serious counseling on how to channel your anger.

How did she get back? Still carrying the mirror shard? Who would pick up a hitchhiker carrying an enormous stabbing instrument?

She’s an evil witch, she grabbed a broom and flew.

Also, what happened to Amrita’s hair? Is it wet, is it oily? How did it change so quickly?!

This woman has to to learn how to say “I’m sorry”. You don’t start by yelling and holding a knife!

I still don’t trust Amrita at all, it’s gonna take a lot more than just putting on modest clothes and no make-up

That was, as always, such fun everyone! But next week I will let us watch something modern again, after you all suffered through the Jackie and neon and pink lipstick of the 90s this week.

There is going to be a lot of therapists to pay after all this for all the scars Amrita put on Juhi and for her own troubles as well

What are we watching next week, Margaret? May I suggest Humpty Sharma, A Gentleman, or Bang Bang? Obviously, I am open to anything else as well.

Oh yes, Humpty Sharma is on Netflix now!

And on Prime here with English subtitles!! 😀

Yaaaaay! the “good” movies are sometimes so hard to find. I will keep Humpty in mind, let me know if you have any other ideas (Bang Bang and A Gentleman would be great, but are harder to get).

Oh, I want to put in Bhangra Paa Le as a suggestion. True I’ve seen it recently, but I LOVED it. It is on U.S. Netflix (or at least it was two weeks ago…)

But there’s no one famous! Can we expect people to watch a movie with no one famous?

Okay other suggestions with famousish people Dostana, Made in China, Dhanak (all of which I haven’t seen and are on Netflix)

Oooo, Dostana! Dhanak is devastatingly crawl under the blankets and not come out sad, so not that. Made in China, I have no idea if it is good or bad, a mystery movie.

I enjoyed Bangra Paa Lee too! But I’m such a sucker for such movies. I also enjoyed Street Dancer 3D.
