Happiness Post: Karan on Instagram, Royal Babies in Bhutan, Salman in an Eid Celebration

This was a hard weekend in America, and a hard few months in the world. Anyway, time for a TOTAL HAPPINESS post. I’m starting us off with 3 super super happy things, and you can add on. I think this is something that’s supposed to be good for mental health, right? Forcing yourself to think of 3 happy things before breakfast or something? Anyway, think of it like that! A happiness homework for us all to complete!

Karan posted a really sweet message on instagram thanking Manish Malhotra for organizing an hour long video from folks wishing him happy birthday. Karan’s message is so sweet, and the idea of Manish taking it upon himself to organize it is so sweet, and the idea of all these people taking time to participate is super sweet too. It’s just full of love, you know? Makes me happy. And confirms for me the feeling that underneath all of Karan’s attitude, is a really dedicated loyal loving friend who inspires enormous love in those around him.

Bhutan royal babies! I decided this is barely appropriate news, since Bhutan is close to India, and I am sure at some point an Indian film was set there. Mostly, LOOK HOW CUTE!!!! The little “Dragon Prince” toddler, and his two month old brother.

UPDATE: I found a connection! The Queen went to The Lawrence School in India, in the same class as Varun Sharma (Mayank from JHMS). Also, they are distant cousins, which is very filmi.

And finally, new Salman Khan song. Which was also Wajid Khan’s last composition before he died. That makes me both sad and happy. It was a song Salman wanted to do for Eid, and it’s about “Hindu-Muslim, Bhai Bhai”. Which is a really nice message, and it’s a surprisingly good song, so a nice ending (if there had to be an ending) to Wajid’s career. Mostly I just enjoy how happy and free and confident and optimistic Salman feels in the video. He makes me feel healthier in my head and heart just watching and listening to him.

    • Aren’t they cute??? But my sister points out by photo 4, the older brother might be having second thoughts about this whole thing.

Doesn’t the dad/King of Bhutan look happy????

      • LOL the older brother looks very bored with all this photoshoot.

Today I saw a teaser that made my day. It’s from kannada movie I never heard before, with an actor I don’t know, but the guy , who is also the producer of the movie, made a teaser just to introduce himself. The funny part is he copied Arjun Kapoor’s scenes from Jatt Jaguar song (from Mubarakan). As a fan I’m proud others are coping Arjun’s style. People always talk bad about him, but he has an attitude and style not many have. This teaser was a proof. But the best part of the teaser (apart of being the reason to rewatch Jatt Jaguar I absolutely love) was the actor’s nickname. You know those funny nicknames southern stars have like Rocking star, Stylish Star etc. So this guy is Talking star. When I read it I was like: WHAAAT? Were all the other nicknames taken?

        Here’s the teaser:

        And here Jatt Jaguar:

    • I think it is Salman’s voice, if he stays in his range it’s not bad. It was for his fans for Eid, which is nice, and Sajid-Wajid wrote it for him remotely I guess.

        • Salman just announced today that there are two more Sajid-Wajid songs coming in his next film, so that’s nice. I hope they are good ones so he has a good legacy.
