This is a full year award. If you take 2020 as a whole, who has the best instagram feed? I’m going to nominate 4, but don’t feel limited! Bring up some more suggestions if you have them!

Karan and His Twins
Karan Johar! Let his hair go grey and his beard grow in, and let us get a glimpse of his very crazy twin baby focused household. Basically just followed the kids around with his cell phone as they bopped about working on their twin projects. SUCH JOY!!!!
Sidharth Malhotra’s Reading
Sid M!!!! Going into quarantine, I more or less liked him, but after following his instagram, I really like him. He sits at home, he cooks, he reads books, he lets his bangs grow floppy, he drinks coffee. While everyone else was doing this perfect happy family instagram story, or the “great time to go to the gym” or inspirational sort of “using this time to improve ourselves” stories, Sid was just doing “here I am at home, reading on the couch”, and it is just so freakin’ charming.
Hrithik’s Grey Hair
Hrithik! He let his hair go grey, he moved his ex-wife in to co-parent, he learned the piano, he is a DELIGHT!!!! And still so shallow so I don’t even feel bad for not being as productive as him.
Harsh’s Sneakers
Harsh! His instagram is a lovely view into his mind. His empty empty mind. Sneakers, the movies he has watched recently, and….that’s it I guess? Unless you also count other clothes as their own thing more than just sneaker companions. It’s like a little vacation from the real world.

2nd Place: Harsh! It’s a window to this whole world of extreme male fashion I never knew existed!

Excuse you, Harsh also made a super deep music playlist and also sometimes posts stuff about where he’s filming. It is a super deep insta for deep people, squares like you and me just don’t get it.
My favourite posts are the ones where he just films his thighs or whatever and once you realise it’s not a post from some fuckboy you know you’re like… what am I meant to look at? And after staring at it for 10 seconds you realise it’s some barely visible item of clothing.
The best is Harsh, we know it’s true.

You are right, I don’t get it. I don’t even understand what I am supposed to be doing with his playlists. It’s, like, a screenshot of a fuzzy list of titles from spotify? Am I supposed to print it out and recreate it on Spotify somehow? Why can’t he just list all the titles in the instagram caption?
And of course I forgot about this philosophical discussion which turned out to be about the brand of clothing he was wearing:

Sid is a very happy place. Harsh sometimes gets a bit too repetitive, but Sid is always bright and happy with a nice dog.

I basically have the same ranking as Surya. Sid always makes me smile, Harsh’s is nice to look at and Hrithik is just so normal in its own shallow, but delightful way.

1. Karan: Same reason, the kids are adorable (though I am definitely very concerned that he’s sharing this before it being okay with them (and yes, I know they’re babies, but sharenting is not always great?))

Oh oh oh! Sid M. and Shahrukh host a book show together!!!!! YES!!!! They can both drink coffee and brush bangs out of their eyes and get excited about books that they sincerely enjoy reading. And SRK can tease Sid about how young he is, and Sid can tease SRK about how old he is.
