YAY Bobby Jasoos!!! You know how much I love that movie! If we are choosing a Preity movie, I would love for it to be Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega instead of Chori Chori, just because the ending of Chori Chori makes me sad. I wanted all of them to be a throuple forever! I am okay with any of the Varun movies you have picked.

I’m still bitter that I missed the first time you guys watched Dilwale, so that’s my top choice. I’m also down to cry about Kal Ho Na Ho with everyone. And the last Saturday one exhausted me, so maybe Friday is better, but technically, I am free both days.

I remember during the summer course that first introduced me to Hindi film, how I argued that the relationship with Rani was so much more important than the one with Salman. I kind of wish I could go back to that discussion after having come out. I think I would be clearer about what I’m arguing now. But yeah, I guess then the result would have to be: They’re definitely a throuple.
I now think that the only reason it doesn’t have a Happy End like Pretty Woman is because then they would have had no way around making the throuple official.

Exactly! I agree that Preity’s relationship with Rani was so much more important than her relationship with Salman and she should continue to have that support and love. There is absolutely no reason for her to leave their lives. Have her be a part of this loving supportive family and grow with them.

Stunning cinematography (and Varun eye-makeup) in Kalank; not much else. I’ll rewatchalong KANK or Bobby Jasoos (ho-hum) Saturday but might zone in and out.
