Maddy Positivity Post! Rank Your Maddys!!!!

I’m thinking maybe not everyone here has such a warm familiar feeling about Maddy as I do. In which case they are WRONG. Anyway, I’m gonna list out the best Maddy options and you can rank based on whichever of them you have actually seen.

  1. I know how much you love Maddy, as much as I love Prabhas. But I find myself increasingly fickle in old age. I like the older, grittier Maddy of Salaa Khadoos and Vikram Vedha, more than the young, sweet Maddy. And much as I hate to admit, I’m souring on older Prabhas. I fell in love with his Bahubaali and ditto his earlier flicks (like OMG, his bad boy persona in Billa). But I wasn’t thrilled with his older, rumpled and business-suited looks in Saaho (until he took off his shirt). It’s different with the actresses I like. Old or young versions, I’m still s fan.

    • I will allow you to prefer older Maddy. Just out of curiosity, between Saala Khadoos and Vikram Vedha, any preference?

  2. His Vikram Vedha role was more nuanced and he wasn’t quite so buff as he was in Saala. I discovered Madhavan in Saala , went back to watch some of his earlier films and realized I’d already seen them. Didn’t know he was the same guy! But until Kartikeya Gummakonda makes another romance/adventure flick or when I can get the Amit Sad h series on my tv, ill go back to Saala for my beefcake fix.

    • Saala is amazing. To get very basic for a moment (and I know you will join me down here in the mud), a man needs a certain amount of body fat/frame size to really look right with big muscles, right? Maddy has that nice big natural body which is so tragically rare in the skinny stringy gym body days we have today.

  3. The younger Maddy is too baby-faced for me. Too…chipmunky. (Tho’ I do love chipmunks.) So, Saala Khadoos is WAY my favorite. His big, buffness is just begging for hugs.

  4. I confess I didn’t understand how anyone found Maddy sexy until I saw his transformation for his older roles. Cute and funny, yes, but sexy is reserved for older bearded Maddy. Vikram Vedha is my favorite of these pics but I haven’t seen it, or Saala Khadoos. Should I?

    • Vikram Vedha is a great cops and robbers movie, so might even be good for you to watch with your husband. And Saala Khadoos is another feminist sports movie, but I think my favorite of them. Maddy is a rough and harsh couch, but he just sees his athlete as an athlete, doesn’t notice/care that she is a girl.
