By the end of this weekend, I will be half done with this ridiculous 4 step move! And this step isn’t THAT bad, it’s just loading and unloading the car a few times.

First move, I packed everything up at my apartment and hired movers and sent it to storage.

Second move, this weekend, I take the bare essentials to a campsite situation in the empty unit in our building, plus also the 3 heavy pieces of furniture my parents are giving me and I have to take before their movers come. I figure I can do it all by the end of the day Monday.

Third move, end of the month, I move all my campsite stuff downstairs to my ACTUAL unit.

Fourth final move, mid-August, all my stuff comes out of storage and I am reunited with it.

Needless to say, I was up at 6am today and the car is already fully loaded. Which is pointless since the tenant won’t be out until noon. But as soon as it is noon, I am taking a break from work, zipping over, unloading the car, and then at 2pm I let in the cleaners. Cleaners are done by 7, my parents stop by somewhere in the middle there to drop off Albie Dog, and then I have a friend movie night to celebrate my New Apartment.

I wonder what I will eat? And where I will sleep? And where Albie Dog will sleep? Oh well, I am sure it will all work out. And by move #4 (of 4), I should have this all down to a science and won’t be excited or nervous at all.

(I almost forgot a pillow, but that would have been okay because I could have used Albie Dog, right?)
