Yes, not only is it a Hollywood Christmas movie, it’s in black and white!!! With no songs! I am going all out on the soothing Christmas things!
Miracle on 34th Street!
It’s soooooooooooo good. And it’s on HBOMax if you have a subscription, or for rent on youtube if you don’t. And you get to have a nice mature romance, and cute little Natalie Wood, and SANTA.

At 8am Saturday, I will put up a comment saying “and PLAY” and then we will comment along from there! Or just me by myself will comment along from there, and be happy because I love this movie. Although, reminder, this is your second to last chance to win a Christmas card for commenting!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it!

It’s SO GOOD! And your 7 year old might still be of an age to appreciate it. If you really 100% believe in Santa, it’s a whole different experience, because you spend the whole time giggling at the silly people who don’t believe (that’s how my sister and I watched it the first time).

Yes! The whole cast is great! Especially Santa, and I am so glad he wasn’t in many other movies, so he is always and forever Santa to me.

OK, forget it — I’m in no condition to watch the little Dutch girl scene. You’re on your own.

Ah, cant make this one, some frightful impulse made me say I’d make the hot punch for our carols round the tree outside the church. So l shall be doing that and hanging tealights in jamjars off the railings when you press play. At least its Christmassy!

It is Christmassy! And now you have an excuse to sit home with hot cocoa and rewatch 34th Street while reading our comments at the end of the day.

I’ll try to make it. Can I enjoy it as an adult if I’ve never seen it as a child?
