Happy Monday! This post comes to you from the Halifax airport! We take a flight from here to Toronto and then Toronto to Chicago, and then I am finally home with Albie Dog by about 5pm Chicago time. Everything would be working perfectly except that my headphones broke so I have to hold the right ear in place with my hand. This is a bit of a problem because the headphones are both my preferred method of airplane entertainment and (way more important) the best solution for MASSIVE PRESSURE CHANGE EAR PAIN. So, I will just have to hold them on my head really tight with both hands and then it will be fine. Yes, I already checked, the airport stores are sold out.
Here is where you get to ask me everything from “Should I watch the new KWK episode?” to “How was Halifax?” Just keep swinging back to this post all week as you think of new questions!
Now, question for you! Who do you want to see on KWK this season, assuming KWK at some point becomes the spicy honest show it is at its best?
Sonam-Swara is my choice! I love their friendship, and I think they would have lots of good things to say about all kinds of topics if Karan let them really get going.
Alternatively, Pooja-Alia! Super curious about their relationship, would love to hear them discuss fame in the 90s versus today, and also get Pooja’s thoughts on Alia’s marriage/motherhood.
How was Hailfax? How was the whole trip? What did you eat at the delicious Indian place? I need something to whet my appetite because I came down with a massive stomach bug and have not eaten solid food since Thursday night. Yes, I realize it is Monday. I am surprised that I am still alive.
Did you end up seeing the new KWK? If so, what did you think? Were you like my cousin, who thought this was about all she could handle on the back from Europe with two kids and jet lag, or were you on the side of me and Kainaat who just thought it was sooooooo booooooring, despite Ranveer trying his level best?
Can’t wait to hear all about your trip!

The whole trip was wonderful! Except the food was generally terrible. At the Indian place I had the standard Naan and Palak Paneer (or, as their menu called it, “cheese spinach”). But it was sooooooooooooo good. And a little sweeter than I am used to? Or maybe just less salty?

Will you post a full review of the new KWK episodes? They might be more entertaining than the actual show, would love to read 🙂

I’ve had it with the men, I just want women on KWK dishing dirt and being aggressive. Alternatively, if he can be normal OR really bitchy for half an hour, Govinda.

What about Jackie being super weird in an inexplicable way?

Also acceptable as long as his clothes are terrible.

The next episode is Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi so maybe it’ll be more fun? I am not counting on it though. Sara is refreshingly honest about herself and her family but just doesn’t seem gossipy. And I think Jhanvi is so sheltered by Karan, I don’t think he’ll put up anything that would scandalize her.
As Margaret said, we need Sonam and Swara!!!!

Well, at least it’s two ladies, that’s something.

I was unsure about this season and whether I would watch it (I just haven’t seen this new crop of stars in anything), but I watched the first episode and enjoyed it. Ranveer is always such a ball of energy and I didn’t know he was that good at celebrity impressions 🙂
