Just did my daily check in with news articles on the three Khans.  And guess what!  They all have women problems!  Of widely varying categories and degrees.

In order of age, first, we have Aamir Khan (50 and 9 months).  Apparently, the BJP is still all mad about the whole “Intolerance” statement, in particular how he opened it, with the comment about his wife asking him if they should think about leaving India.  The newest regressive twist on it is, BJP politician Ram Madhav says to Aamir “It will not work that you preach to an autowallah how the country’s prestige has to be saved, but not tell the same to your own wife.”  A bit of an interesting take on it, criticising Aamir at the same time giving him the traditional place of honor as the head of the household and his wife’s lord and master.  And the most depressing, political, and regressive mini-story of this batch!

Shahrukh (50 and 77 days) has the easiest problems, for once, with some mild rumors floating around about a rift between him and Dips.  Because they haven’t made a public appearance together in a while, and the whole Bajirao opposite Dilwale thing.  In response to which, Dips sent him a pleasant tweet, and recently said in a press conference “I will always love him….Nothing can ever come in the way of that (her equation with SRK). Nobody can come in the way. It will never happen.”  So, for now, all is good.  But a couple more statements like that, and it will swing back to a different kind of problem with all sorts of affair rumors.

And then there’s Salman.  Oh, Salman.  He was spotted having a very late night dinner with Katrina Kaif.  Or at least, they were spotted leaving the same restaurant at about the same time.  And this is right after rumors started flying that Ranbir has moved out of his and Kat’s apartment and their engagement is over.  Which was possibly because of a fight over her meeting Salman even before this by “accident” when they were filming in neighboring studios.  Now, it is entirely possible that this whole thing is just a tempest in a teapot, but I really really want it to be a thing!  Like, a real thing!  I came around on him and Kat right when they broke up and I’ve been wanting them to get back together ever since!  Plus, it would probably be good for Ranbir to have a woman publicly humiliate him.  Again.  I mean, it should probably be something he experiences every few years, just to keep him humble.
