It hasn’t been officially launched yet, which is probably why it only has about 40 thousand views on youtube. But later today Shahrukh will do a big presentation at Delhi University, and then hold a press conference.
Before going on, here is the video:
Seeing the fake-SRK in motion is winning me over a little! When I am just catching glimpses of his face as it moves, it is a lot harder to focus on how WEIRD it looks. But on the other hand, seeing it from all the different angles, I think it is a little easier to see what all they did to him to make him look different.
His cheeks are definitely rounder, but the big difference is, they straightened and narrowed his nose. And his body is way way skinnier. Which is the thing that helps him, for me, look the least Shahrukh-like. Because when Shahrukh really was young and fresh-faced, he had a sort of soft baby fat like body, not this super super skinny look.

So what’s the word on the street? Prosthetics plus CGI, or all CGI?

Prosthetics plus CGI. They brought in the Hollywood make-up artist who did Mrs. Doubtfire and Benjamin Button. But then it was in post-prod at Red Chillies VFX for like a year.
