I know I already did a round-up today, but then I checked the Times of India, and there was all this new good stuff that I just had to talk about.

Remember a few days ago I talked about Sushant Singh Rajput breaking up with his long-time live in girlfriend and co-star in his old TV show?  Well, now they are both apparently “denying” the story.  But denying it in that way where it sounds like it’s still true, they just didn’t want it to come out like this.  Or at least one of them didn’t!  ToI is taking this whole thing veeeeeery personally, since they were the ones to break the story.  My favorite quote from their follow up story is:

“With all due respect to the couple that was until recently ‘very much in love’ and ‘wanting marriage’, we actually had details of the split where one of them didn’t speak very flatteringly about the other.  However, to give them dignity in their time of heart-break, we refrained from saying anything that would stir a storm. Being in denial about a split is one thing, pretending it never happened is quite another.”

Dang, ToI!  You are pulling no punches!  I wonder which side is their source?  On the one hand, when you have a long-time less famous girlfriend and a rising movie star boyfriend spending lots of time on location, it’s pretty easy to build a picture of some on location flings from the boyfriend that result in extreme bitterness and nasty quotes to ToI from the girlfriend.  Woman scorned and all that.  On the other hand, if I am ToI and I see a really bad break-up brewing, who am I going to side with, the rising movie-star or the falling TV star?  Or is she more famous/popular/powerful than I realize?  It looks like she hasn’t even been on a show since 2014.  Anyway, I am fascinated and cannot wait to see how this all plays out.

Bigger but less juicy news, Bips is getting married!  FINALLY!  To her longtime rumored boyfriend Karan Singh Grover.  Not like she’s announced it or anything, but at least they are no longer vocally denying it.  And more and more details of the ceremony are leaking out.  Apparently, it will be at the end of next month, mehndi party, then small Bengali ceremony the next day, and then a big blow out reception.  It will be Karan’s third marriage (ouch!).  But, I guess the upside to that is, he doesn’t care about the ceremony any more, since the Bengali is all from Bips’ side.  I’m just happy she is finally settling down.  Not like “every woman should be married”, but she’s been giving interviews for years about how much she wants to be married, so it’ll make her happy.  I just want Bips to be happy!

Also, if she changes her mind and has a Western style wedding, this is absolutely what she should use to walk down the aisle.
