I thought the 6 Flavors of Ayurvedic diet/medicine might be nice. In a mixture of images and quotes.
Sweet

Sour

Salty

Of course there’s also literally salty, saltwater

Gifable!

Bitter

Pungent

Astringent

Astringent is also cleansing, yes?

So, which is your favorite flavor? Or, put it another way, which flavor makes him unique to you? I think I like the astringent. That strong cleansing almost painful honesty, that’s what makes him a little different from the others.
Which is your least favorite flavor? Or the least unique? I think bitter is what bothers me the most. Partly because it is unpleasant to hear, partly because when he gets bitter is when I know he is really unhappy.
What flavor would you add to these six? I would add “chocolatey”. Which is a little bitter, but smoother on the way down.
What photo/quote did I miss that you would like to add? oh oh! An excuse to post this video for “sweet”.
I’m going with sweet today, because I think it’s the constant flavor running throughout that enriches or adds contrast with the other flavors. And because I desperately need sweetness in the world right now to counteract the poison.

I love and hate that video when AbRam walks in and interrupts. Shah Rukh is so warm and cordial with them and they are so sweet with AbRam but then the woman went on to say terrible things about him and his acting and how late he was etc. Another example of basking in his presence IN his presence and then wanting to be “hip” and dis him once they are out of his presence.

I don’t understand all of this “he was so late!” complaints with Shahrukh. You know he’s going to be late! He’s always been late, his entire career! That’s built into the interview! He’s late for interviews and photoshoots, so he can be on time for wedding performances and ad shoots and everything else. He sells his time, and if you aren’t paying for it, you have to understand that he is going to put someone who is ahead of you. If you want someone on time, you can interview someone whose time is less valuable. Especially because it is consistent that once he is there, he is there fully and will do whatever you need. I don’t know, it almost feels like a weird class thing, Shahrukh is “just” a performer while they are Journalists so they should be respected.
It annoys me and reminds me of back when I was working part time and one of my jobs had us all come in for an employee “party/meeting” but didn’t pay us for the time. They didn’t seem to grasp that we all had other jobs we were working as well, and we weren’t giving them “free” time, we were giving them time that could have generated income somewhere else, we were losing money by being there. Anyway, he seems to have solved the problem by just not giving interviews any more like everyone else who is at that level.
