Oh boy, this is exciting! Two movies just hit Netflix that you should ALL WATCH, so I am giving you advance warning so you have time. Sarvam Thaala Mayam review will be reposted on Wednesday 3/13, and a new review of Awe will go up on Thursday of next week, 3/14. Fun fun! I can’t wait!
Sarvam Thaala Mayam! Rajiv Menon’s third movie, 18 years waiting for this, and it does not disappoint. Gorgeous music, gorgeous visuals, gorgeous message. Okay, the ending is kind of lame and contrived, but all Menon’s endings are lame and contrived, so long as they get the characters where they need to be for the end credits tag, that’s what matters. And, it’s on Netflix! Just weeks after it was in theaters. Really, WATCH IT! And then read my review on Wednesday and comment on it.

And then there’s Awe! A very strange interesting Telugu movie. Kind of combination of Double Barrel and Lucia and Oh Darling Yeh Hai India. If that sounds like your kind of jam, you should watch it! And, it’s also on Netflix.
Awe was awesome!

No Awe or Sarvam Thaala Mayam on Italian Netflix (really it’s the worst), but I found Awe in other place and I’m watching it now.

See if you can find Sarvam Thaala Mayam in another place as well. It is all about classical music and classical musicians.

Awe was a let down… It built so much expectation, and then suddenly the bubble burst without too much backstory.
I don’t think you have reviewed Tummbad (hindi), this one is unexpected too good, its on Amazon Prime.

I haven’t reviewed Tumbbad, maybe sometime in the next few weeks!
