Anyone Up for a Tweetalong on July 4th?

I just realized, I have the day off work and nothing to do. And secondly, that Ohm Shaanti Oshaana is still on Googleplay (yaaaaaaaay!).

July 4th is a big holiday in America, but also kind of a big hassle. I don’t want to leave my apartment and deal with the traffic and crazies, plus it’s in the middle of the work week so I can’t really leave town or stay up late or do anything super fun. I’ll just be sitting around my apartment all day, why not try to tweet?

BUT! I need commitments from people to be able to join in, otherwise I am just tweeting into The Void, which is boring and pointless. If I had a tweetalong midmorning America Time, afternoon Europe Time and evening India Time, would anyone be able to join in? I can adjust back and forth an hour depending on what is easiest for folks.

Even if this doesn’t work out, you should all go watch Ohm Shaanti Oshaana! It’s sunny and happy and the perfect summer movie. And winter movie. Really, any time movie.

    • Well, I either do this or I do a deep clean of my apartment. Equally fun!

      • Yup, I feel like I noticed a bunch of tiny details that I missed the last time!

Nazriya mentions that she became better friends with Nivin during the community wedding planning and I do wish that was shown a little more before Nazriya gets heartbroken again.

        • Someone, I think not you, mentioned just rewatching it recently and noticing that Nivin plays the early scenes so that, if we are watching his face, we can tell how he feels all along. Which I hadn’t noticed even after dozens of watches! I was always so focused on Nazriya and worried about her embarrassment and heartbreak, I didn’t see his face.

          • Found the comment! Which describes it perfectly:

“One scene I would like to mention here is the ‘rejection scene’. Giri had love in his eyes when he stepped closer to Pooja to save his head from the rain showers, but then he looked in other direction, calmed himself and rejected her proposal by asking her to focus on her studies. I realized this on my 4th watch of the movie.”
