What fun! Rani week! I’ll throw together a 101 on her, and post all my old reviews, and still have loads of time for Christmas shopping and parties and stuff. (by the way, these aren’t set in stone. If there is a movie you would like to add or remove, say it in the comments, I can shift things)

Monday 12/9: Ghulam (Hindi, einthusan)

Rani’s first role, her voice was dubbed but she still gave a spectacular performance. Plus, it’s an already great movie, and Rani and Aamir together are HOT.

Tuesday 12/10: Bunty Aur Babli (Hindi, youtube and googleplay)

A smarter movie than it first appears, and Rani’s great comic performance. Not to mention a great example of the priceless Ranishek chemistry.

Tuesday 12/10: Aiyyaa (Hindi, Netflix)

Weirdly feminist, and also just plain WEIRD. Prithviraj is hot, Rani is charming, the rest of the characters are nuts but I don’t care.

Wednesday 12/11: Chalte Chalte (Hindi, Netflix)

The best Rani-Shahrukh movie together (I think). They are sexy, they are joyful, they are real.

Thursday 12/12: Talaash (Hindi, einthusan)

Rani and Aamir united again, still sexy but mature and sad and complex too.

Friday 12/13: Mardaani (Hindi, youtube and googleplay)

The original! Rani as a super cop who won’t stop, won’t be afraid, and won’t care what anyone says to or about her.

Saturday 12/14: Hichki (Hindi, Prime)

Rani’s return post baby! Not the greatest movie, but it is a kick to see her onscreen, as charming as ever.

Sunday 12/15: Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (Hindi, youtube and googleplay)

And the grand finale! Rani’s most controversial character, the cheating wife love story.
