I need VOTES! I really want to do Veere Di Wedding, but it is only on Einthusan, and that just doesn’t make sense, way too hard to watch and comment at the same time. So instead I have these two options. Oh, and as the last to weeks, we will start at 2pm Chicago time and comment along in a blog space I will put up about half an hour early.
Option 1, extremely stupid dance film with your usual drama around who will win the big Thing, and tormented backstories, and dancing for a reason, and all of that.
Option 2, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, happy silly love story from the early 2000s with Preity and Abhishek.
Okay, pick your desire!!!! What would you like best?

Chromecast, it’s a beautiful thing! I can watch einthusan on my TV using it, it’s still hinky with the usual einthusan problems with pausing and restarting and stuff, but at least I can have two screens.

Perhaps a stupid question, but can I use it only for einthusan as a kind of replacement cable, or do you have to buy a program? I already have digital TV and Youtube etc on it.

Chromecast is a little toggle you attach to your TV that lets google chrome “cast” whatever you are playing on your Chrome browser on your computer screen onto the TV. So you can cast the screen playing your einthusan movie to your TV, and then open up a different screen and comment on DCIB or whatever. If you have an Android phone, same thing, open up Einthusan on the phone and you can “cast” it to your TV screen. You would have the option of using it for Netflix, Prime, all the other standard video programs, but you don’t have to. I have a Roku and really only use chromecast for Einthusan.

If you pay $25 for the lifetime Einthusan subscription all of the glitchy problems go away or at least that’s been my experience.

I have the subscription, but it still takes forever to buffer and load if I pause in the middle, or try to skip forward. That could just be my internet speed though.

Okay, I am all torn now. I have two votes for JBJ (although one of them is Popka who may be out due to technology. I have two votes for SD3D if I count this as a vote. And everyone else said they were okay with either. So it’s still a tie!
Personally I would rather do JBJ I think, but I will wait a little longer to see if there is another vote that breaks the tie.

I might be up for this–3 pm your time is 5 am Saturday my time and I won’t be doing anything else, obvs, so. Slightly prefer Street Dancer because it looks so dumb, but on the other hand it might make me depressed about Varun’s career. I have watched about 20 minutes of JBJ and it did not grab me, but who knows?
Don’t decide anything based on me! I might oversleep and I’ll be watching either on einthusan, so if it’s wonky and slow I may go back to bed.
