Shahrukh surprised us with the Jawan drop and now I have to make last minute watchalong decisions! I have a commitment midday Saturday and Sunday afternoon, so morning is best for me. But I’m hoping we can make it work because Jawan is soooooooooo good.

It’s on Netflix, I watched the “extended” version and the songs are longer, plus there’s an added Vijay scene, but not sure if there is anything really significant different. What WOULD be different is watching it as a watchalong with y’all!!!!
So, Saturday 8am Chicago time? Sunday 8 or 9am Chicago time? Saturday 3pm Chicago time? Remember it’s “fall back” week, so 8am Sunday will feel like 9am! If that makes a difference.

I find Jawan too intense to be able to watch it again and again by myself. I’m glad I watched it in India with a boisterous crowd otherwise I may not have had the emotional capacity to cope with it. I skimmed through and watched some scenes and songs but don’t think I’ll be watching it all through again.
