No Bharat Ane Nenu today, because I was being PRODUCTIVE! In a whole bunch of other ways. Fun fun!
First, I made pizza last night. So my fridge now has food in it. And also, I got a Pepperidge Farms frozen German Chocolate cake. Fun!
(I would have gotten delivery instead of making my own if I could have been sure Boman Irani would deliver it)
Oh, and on the way home, I also stopped by the fabric store and bought remnants so I could make skirts.
(I looked for red but they didn’t have it, so instead it will be a “purple Garara”)
This morning, I actually got enough sleep. Which was suuuuuuuuuper productive. And then I brushed my hair. Which was also productive, because I have a lot of hair and it’s been a while since I gave it a real brush. Took about 45 minutes.
(Sure this hair looks pretty, but do you know how tangled it gets when you spin like that?)
And then I went for a long long walk with my dog, which was productive because it wore her out and then she slept all cute next to me.
And it also gave me time to write my new Bahubali versions in my head while I walked.
(Picture this, but during the Independence movement time and Rana is a British collaborator)
And then after I posted those posts, I took out my stash of old jeans and my fabric remnants and made 4 skirts.
(not this kind of skirt, jean skirts, so kind of slim line and practical and no good for spinning)
And I did dishes
(Me and Suri, living alone, doing our little dishes)
And I took out the trash
(I’m not as sensitive as Rani to strong smells, but I do still like to have the garbage out of the kitchen every week or so)
And finally, I worked on a Mother’s Day surprise for you all, so that was fun!
(This is not the surprise. It’s better/different)
Oh, and I also took a nap. Seriously, sleep was desperately needed this weekend.
(No one showed up to protect me from a candle, but that was okay because I just didn’t light a candle to begin with)
Good to hear you don’t sleep with candles 🙂
And I’m impressed by your patience – I could never brush my hair for more than 10 minutes.

Well, I did sleep with incense. But that’s not nearly as flammable.
