Okay, I think I figured this out! I found a time when the west coast, the east coast, and Italy can all coordinate. And also Japan and Australia, if people want to stay up very very late, your decision. India I didn’t bother about, because for some reason no one ever joins us from India. Very sad.

Which should be 7am in California, 10am in Virginia, 4pm in Italy, midnight in Japan, and 1am in Australia. Or maybe not, I will leave it up to all of you to figure out what exactly your time zone is and how it relates to mine, I am very bad at time conundrums.
Which brings me to a logistical discussion! Because of the time confusion possibilities, I will be counting down, putting up a post 24 hours in advance to remind you all and also indicate it is 24 hours in advance. And a tweet an hour, half an hour, and 15 minutes in advance to give you plenty of warning.
You can also join us in the middle, that’s part of the reason we are watching a bad movie, so you can leap in at any point, and also leave early if you need to, and you won’t be missing Great Art.
Oh, and I should also mention which movie we are watching, shouldn’t I?
Here’s the thing, there are two options depending on if you have Amazon Prime or Netflix. Last few times we did this, I found a movie available on multiple services, but that doesn’t seem to exist any more, everything is only in one place. And I don’t want to exclude people, so let me know if you really do not have access to one of these
Prime (with Eros Now, which you can get on a trial basis for free for 7 days): Dil! Totally fun, totally 90s, totally ridiculous
Netflix: Aitraaz. Totally over the top, totally 2000s, hot Akshay.
So, Netflix or Prime? Aamir or Akshay?

Depending on whether fam wants to do something outside on Mem Day, I’ll join. Either movie works for me. I’ve used up my free trial of Eros on Prime already, but Dil is also on einthusan, with English subtitles.

For my family, first thing in the morning would be the best time because there is no way we would get ourselves together and out the door before noon. In fact, I may try to join up with my parents later that afternoon, after the movie and maybe a nap.

It’s hard to choose which movie we should watch – Dil is crazy and amusing, but little boring in the first part. Aitraaz has very sexy Akshay and the pirate song but also Kareena with bad hair and the stupidest choreography in Gela, Gela,Gela. I don’t know which one is better, but maybe Dil, because Madhuri’s birthday was few days ago, and I love the wedding scene.

Oh, that sounds so nice! Well, we should be done by about 12:30 your time, with either movie, so you have the whole afternoon to be in the real world with real people, instead of with us.
