You are welcome! I will plan to just keep the same post going and update it as new reviews are scheduled.
There will also still be announcement posts going out, just to be extra safe and also give people a little information about the film so they can decide if they want to watch it.

How far in advance do you write reviews?
LikeLike
Usually not in advance at all, I write them and post them immediately. Very occasionally I will have an idea in advance and write it up, but usually I write the whole thing last minute.

I’m finishing up Jodhaa Akbar and part of me is thinking man, I wish I’d seen this in a theater on a big screen and another part of me is thank God I’m watching this at home and didn’t have to sit in a theater for 3 and a half hours. Really looking forward to discussing this one!

And now you can watch Sarkar! Which is short and stripped down and the total opposite of J-A.

I have a suggestion for Monday Malayalam – Chemmeen.
Classic movie, a lot of people know, and who doesn’t know it will have a reason to watch it (like me, I need a deadline to finally start watching this one)

And I think I already reviewed it! So that’s easy for me.

Can you review the Tamil movie “96”? This is a movie about reminiscing high school romance after 22 years in a reunion. The lead actors are Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan.

Maybe. It’s really hard for me to see more than one movie in theaters per week, I made a special effort for CCV and it involved changing my work schedule and getting a dogsitter.

Hello,
Have you stopped reviewing Malayalam movies? If not, I’d like
to read your review of “Poomaram”. It’s the Action Hero Biju director’s next. Got mixed reviews here, but one of the two that got a 4 star rating from B Rangan (the other being Ee Ma Yau). It was also selected for the IFFI.

I’m taking a break from Malayalam reviews, they just took up so much time and no one seemed to read them any more. But I’ll pick them up again eventually, thanks for the suggestion!

I don’t, I am very bad at Kannada films. But it looks like it is on Prime, so at least it is easy to access if anyone wants to watch it!

I was gonna watch it on Friday, but the schedule didn’t work out. Yesterday I had already planned Gully Boy with my parents. And today I was gonna get a dog! But I can skip the dog and go see the movie instead. Or get the dog, leave it at my place, and go see the movie.
