Oops, I added this to the schedule but forgot to announce it. It’s a movie I’ve been meaning to review for a while, people probably won’t be that excited about it, but since I am planning to review it I thought I might as well make an announcement.
Lakshya is Farhan Akhtar’s take on a war movie. It’s not about machismo or chest thumping, it’s about a quiet awareness of bravery and sacrifice and what it means to be a Man. And it’s also Hrithik Roshan’s take on coming of age, gangly and immature to restrained and controlled.
Also, it has my favorite Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy soundtrack. And the one time Prabhudeva choreographed for Hrithik. And Preity Zinta playing a heroine with a life and ambitions of her own that she pursues while her boyfriend is off doing other things. And my Grandpa liked it. Many reasons to review it!
`
And the sound track is great for when you clean the house.
