He just has a very pleasing face to look at, doesn’t he? Handsome and sexy and all that, but also just pleasant on the eyes. In a way not all handsome sexy type guys are. I find Akshay Kumar similar now.

Shash is soooooo handsome but very much not western handsome, which I love. Blindingly good looking but also interesting and with character in his face.
He died just as I was starting to watch Hindi films and I just get more appreciative of him as time goes on. He was so good as an actor and with no ego. He made everyone around him better.

Just finished his bio, and that’s what he was like as a producer too, focused on making everyone else good. Which is why he was a TERRIBLE producer. Stuff like, insisted on flying the whole cast and crew first class, would find the money for whatever the director asked, even bought ice cream for dinner for the cast every night. They all loved him, he lost all his money and then some every time he produced.
