Well, I’ve tried asking the people I know in Real Life, and they have been useless (“they are all great!”-how does that help me???). So now I am group sourcing it to the internet, or whatever that phrase is.
Glasses time! It’s been two years so my prescription has slightly changed, and that means I get to buy new frames! It’s my version of getting a new haircut to freshen up my look, because I never cut my hair.
I got my eyes checked at a very nice glasses place where they were super helpful and friendly, and then I turned around and went home and browsed online like a BAD PERSON. Someday I am going to figure out why there is such an insane mark-up on glasses online versus brick and mortar stores. It’s weird, right? I am fine paying 10% more and supporting a local business, but I just can’t justify paying $300 in a store versus $15 online.
Anyway, from The Internet, here are my top 3 choices:

FWIW, I get my eyes checked at Costco. The doctor is an independent operator and has no financial interest in whether or not you buy your frames at Costco. Then I order online at Zenni Optical.
I love pair #1 for sure but I have a serious weakness for cat’s eye frames.

I have a weakness for Cat’s Eye too, but I can’t decide if they work best on my face, or rectangle does. They both look good, but which looks best?

I just got my eyes checked and asked if they could put the new lenses in my previous frames. They said sure, but it still ended up costing about $250. Of course, I’ve got a complicated prescription, progressive lenses, special coating, etc.
(I have frame-less old-person glasses, so you can see how daring I am. Here’s cool pair for you!)

I’m probably too late on this, but if you can afford it I’d go for 1 and 3–very different looks for different outfits and moods, and I think both would look really nice on you.

That’s exactly what I did! And 3 is only $10 including shipping and everything else, so it didn’t break the bank.
