Oh wow I feel weird. I almost fainted at work and decided to come home. I was so far out of it that it took me a few hours to realize I was getting a super strange migraine. My head doesn’t hurt, but I keep seeing monsters in my room and the colors and shapes are all wrong looking and I’m walking into walls. Which, I understand, is sort what happens when you take intoxicating substances. Which I never do, because my migraines are so exciting, why should I look for excitement anywhere else?
I was thinking about trying to watch sane grounding real things, but I just spent five minutes trying to recognize the bathrobe on the back of my door (so scary! Like a giant plaid bat!), so I am going to go the other way and try watching things that will be really really trippy right now. If the whole world looks like a strange over saturated fantasy sequence of fairies and monsters, why not watch purposefully over-saturated fantasy stuff?
Obviously, the first thing that comes to mind is Bahubali. How can I resist watching “Dhivara” when I am in a state to actual hallucinate a floating beautiful woman?
Or, that my car is a giant floating swan thing? (yes, I did drive myself home from work, but VERY VERY SLOWLY) “Hamsa Naava”
“Dhoom Tana” Look at all the pretty colors!
Gotta do a Shankar song. And Amy Jackson already looks kind of surreal, “Ladio”
“Ajnabi Shehar Hai” This is EXACTLY how I feel right now.
And of course old-school, “Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya”.
Okay, I’m gonna stare at my hand for a bit and marvel at how blue the blood in my veins is, than creep along the wall to bed. Why would ANYONE try to feel like this on purpose?????
