I’m still sick. Not super super sick, just not always spelling the worlds I mean to say correctly kind of sick. So, let’s not overburden Margaret’s brain! Let’s do a totally brainless post.
Hrithik Burning

Or Hrithik Cool

Aamir smoldering

Or Aamir Cold as Ice

Prabhas Warm

Or Burning

Prithviraj Warm

Prithviraj Smoldering

Fawad Cool

Fawad Burning
Ranveer Burning

Ranveer Warm

Maddy Burning

Maddy Warm

Saif Cool

Saif Warm

And finally (you can only pick one), Shahrukh Cold

Or Shahrukh burning

Pick your favorite between the two options, your favorite over all, suggest other contrasts in comments, whatever! Have fun!
I saw part of the movie Race 2, before I knew who Saif was. And I only just realized with your post that it is actually him in that movie! I’ve thought of him as Preity’s love interest, but I guess I need to re-evaluate that. Hrithik cool, Aamir smoldering, Prabhas warm, Dont know the next two, Ranveer warm, Don’t know Maddy, Saif warm, and given those two SRK options I’ll take burning.

Yeah, cold Shahrukh is so cold it’s scary. Burning Shahrukh at least still feels human.

Making me pick between crazy Hrithik from Mujhse Dosti Karoge, who for some entirely illogical reason I enjoy so much and chiseled Hrithik from my favorite Hrithik movie is cruel and unusual punishment. I am going to pretend they are twins and I can pick both.
Besides that, Aamir cold, Prabhas warm, Prithivi smoldering, Fawad cool (although Fawad warm but not burning is super hot too), Ranveer warm, Maddy warm, Saif cool but with the warm hair because the slick back weirdly gelled hair is just yucky, and Sharukh burning.

I love Aamir cold! It’s the only interesting version of Aamir so far as I am concerned. DCH, Talaash, Sarfarosh, watching him be smarter than everyone else in the room and cool about it is the best.
On the other hand, as mentioned above, Shahrukh cold is just scary.
And I suppose I will allow you two Hrithiks, I don’t know if I could pick between them myself. Hrithik INSANE makes me giggle, and Hrithik cool makes me all fluttery.

This is a very nice post to look at.
My faves are still my faves (hello, Fawad, at all temperatures), though Maddy burning is intriguing, and Prithviraj warm just makes me sad again I can’t watch Koode (it’s Koode, right?).
Totally distracted, though, by Shah Rukh cold. I love that scene, it gives me feelings. i’ve watched it so many times. Everything about it, the four actors, the situation, the dialogue. The way the actors deliver the dialogue and the way they shift and react to one another. It’s one of the best scenes in JHMS. For me the post Yaadon Mein encounter through Raula into this scene, ending in the “yes, ma’am” moment after the fight, packs in this incredible range of emotions, it’s the heart of the movie. I’d bet SRK goes through all the temperatures just in this one sequence – ultimate smolder, into warm Raula, down through room temperature with the guests, warm again then cool to cold in the doorway, exploding into burning in the fight scene, and carefully back to neutral/room temperature.

Maddy burning is from Saala Khadoos, you should definitely check it out. And yeah, Prithviraj warm is from Koode. So good!
Now you have me thinking about that scene again. Even just in that one scene he goes through all the temperatures, except for smoldering. Which is an important exception, after the back and forth about sex, in the end it isn’t about that, he doesn’t try to seduce her or throw that in her face, it’s about all the emotions around it. Anyway, I would say cold in the doorway, then warm when she starts the conversation again on the balcony, then surprising her by turning cool then cold again, the actual fight is burning, and then it goes down to room temperature all of a sudden afterwards, which is the worst of all, when he retreats into no emotions.

Hrithik – cool! (is this scene from Bang Bang?)
Aamir – smoldering
Prabhas – can’t decide, he is so good in both, but maybe burning
Prithviraj – warm
Ranveer – none
Maddy – burning!
Saif – cool (I love him in Race)
SRK – so difficult, but warm.

This scene is from Bang Bang! Which I think has to be my Sunday ReRun this week, a film that deserves watching and rewatching and rewatching and rewatching.
Poor Aamir finally gets a vote for smoldering instead of cold.
Prabhas is so good with the warm temperatures. I think I like him better warm, but on the other hand I appreciate that he can go up to burning without feeling over the top.
Sweet Prithvi! I love his smolder, but I can understand the desire for the warmth too.
I knew you would pick Maddy burning.
Saif is so good at playing cool, surprisingly few actors are but he does it perfectly.
Anything is better than Shahrukh cold! That’s just scary

Oh, I forgot Fawad – burning! I liked his warm/room temperature versions in Khoobsurat, Humsafar, Kapoor & Sons, but when I saw him burning in ADHM I was smitten.
Yes, I couldn’t choose warm Maddy if I can have him burning. Btw I wish he continued doing movies like Salaa Khadoos and Vikram-Vedha for ladies pleasure. Stupid men who rule the industry don’t realize romantic movies with sexy Maddy would be a gold mine.

Instead we get Santa Maddy the scientist, which maybe will be a different kind of sexy?
Also, do I need to write a Saala Khadoos fanfic that makes it a total romance? And if so, should he get together with the heroine or with a mature woman who can understand and appreciate him?

Mature woman.
The heroine was too childish, and what made Maddy’s character even more sexy was the fact he never touched her or wanted to use her.

But at the end his friend said he was in love with her!
On the other hand, what about a tough divorced reporter who is investigating sexual harassment in the athletic commission? He yells at her, she yells back at him, maybe she is introduced having casual sex with her ex-husband because a woman has needs?

I should rewatch the movie because I forgot half of the plot. Or maybe I never followed half of the plot because I had my eyes only on Maddy? Very likely.

Awww…. Hrithik with the sad puppy-dog face – does it count that it’s his hand which is burning?
Can’t take Aamir smoldering seriously so it has to be cold.
Prabhas is great both ways.
Prithviraj- warm
Fawad – burning, good stuff!
I don’t think that’s the best Ranveer burning – now if it was Ram-Leela…
The two Maddys – two completely different people, one so scary, one so cute.
Poor Saif, warm or cool, it’s hardly a huge range. Does it balance out as tepid?
Shahrukh – he does a burning cold really well, where he is so hurt and angry its beyond showing emotion. A couple of scenes in JTHJ – like when Kat tells him she is leaving him and he wishes her a happy marriage – scary stuff.

Have you seen Mujhse Dosti Karoge? Hrithik makes the acting choose to play his character as INSANE!!!! This crazy man strolling through a sweet love triangle. It’s extremely entertaining, but also extremely weird.
Yeah, Aamir has kind of an innate sweetness that cuts through the smolder.
I should have picked a bad Prabhas option, like when he tries to be cool, but I didn’t want to make it too easy on you all.
Ooo, I forgot about that scene from JTHJ! Yeah, he doesn’t pull out the burning cold acting notes often, but when he does, they are strong. It’s the same in real life, very very rarely he will shut down a line of questioning in an interview or press conference with that same scary total coldness. The fight in Chalte Chalte too, the scary part isn’t when he is yelling, but when he is being calm and lashing out in the most hurtful way he can.
