Sunday 10/13: Chak De! India (Hindi, Netflix)
A rerun of a review I forgot about, Shahrukh’s great feminist and patriotic statement.
Wednesday 10/16: Ente Ummante Peru (Malayalam, Prime)
Just a really sweet little movie. It made me happy to watch it, more people should watch it and be happy.
Thursday 10/17: Julayi (Telugu, Prime)
Fun silly Allu Arjun action film, who can resist it?
Friday 10/18: Deewana (Hindi, Netflix and Prime)
Shahrukh’s first film release! He only shows up in the second half, but it is still significant.
Sunday 10/20: Chalte Chalte (Hindi, Netflix)
Just a nice little romance film. I was thinking about reposting my Devdas review, but I hated Devdas, so it really wasn’t a nice thing to do on his birthday month. This movie, I like.

Excited to read what you have to share. I really enjoyed Deewana but not do much Chalte Chalte. At first I thought it was my feeling about a lack of chemistry between SRK and Rani but watching Paheli shook that out of me. I just didn’t like his character in CC and didn’t find him redeemable even at the end. I wasn’t rooting for them as a couple after he found her again.

You’ll have to wait a bit for chalte Chalte, I mixed up my days so it won’t be until Sunday after next since Chak De is next week. Anyway, I am excited to see what you think too! And I am excited to force myself to rewatch Deewana myself. It’s been a while.
