Isn’t this a happy thing? My friend/co-worker came in today and announced she was married over the weekend. They went to Vegas and had Elvis do it, and then played penny slots.

It’s okay, her wife understands that she has to share my friend with both me (her platonic life partner) and Shahrukh Khan (the Best Man in the World). With that worry relieved, I can celebrate this marriage as it should be celebrated….with ridiculous dance numbers!

No “wedding” songs, those are boring, I want “reception” songs! The big fun crazy stuff that the friends of the bride and groom put on! Starting with “Dilli Wali Girlfriend” because they went on a trip together to Delhi last year.

Moving on to “Ram Chahe Leela” because my friend inexplicably (to me) likes Ram-Leela.

“Girls Like to Swing” from Dil Bole Hadippa because my friend made me see it in theaters and also, you know, they’re both ladies.

And finally, two fan videos! In honor of our past Sunday morning dates when my friend lived in the same building and we would watch fanvideos in my apartment in pajamas.
