Watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Right Here in Half an Hour!!!!

I may have totally messed this up by scheduling it very last minute, and then moving the start time an hour and a half earlier, and scheduling it on a half hour just to confuse people. But I hope this post helps. The conversation will be here, in the comments on this post, in half an hour (10:30pm Chicago time). Hope to see you here!

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! Watch it on Netflix, or youtube, or googleplay, or Prime in some places. Or on your DVD. Start playing at 10:30pm Chicago time and I will start commenting then.

I’m excited! This will be like the first time I watched it, on my laptop in my dorm room after my roommate had gone home for the weekend, late late on a Saturday night.

  1. “Gee, why does it feel like my heart is ripped from my chest in a way I’ve never felt before? Oh well, won’t analyze it, will just marry the hot chick and move on”

  2. What a task Tina leaves her EIGHT YEAR OLD daughter!
Really have to suspend your disbelief here. I’m happy to go with it though

  3. Obviously Miss Braganza + Anupam 4Ever, but in a world where Miss Braganza didn’t exist, I would be okay with Farida and Anupam getting together.

  4. Enter trope of the magical child. Because of course you would write a letter to your future 8-year-old daughter from beyond the grave giving her a sacred mission to reunite her father with his ex.

  5. The forbidden song! Have you noticed this? Somehow all the other KKHH songs have popped up legally on youtube, but not this one.

  6. We all know that Salman’s appearance wasn’t promoted, right? So when he just showed up onscreen people went INSANE.

  7. Question: Would you rather Salman get together with Reema Lagoo after the end of the movie, or Little Anjail? several years later obviously

  8. I love how all along Reema sees all the foreshadowing and the shadows in Kajol’s eyes and they have conversations about her doubts, and her role during the whole movie is just to look troubled and never do anything about it. You wait and wait until the end for her to step in and just, many troubled looks.

  9. Okay, yes, now I am agreeing with you that this is a lot to put on an 8 year old.

Oh! Alternate film! SRK falls in love with someone else, Little Anjali tries to force the marriage with Kajol to happen, hijinks ensue.

  10. “A home that is built on compromise and not love is not a home”, so much better than all the terrible parents in all the other movies wanting you to forget love for family honor and “adjust”!

  11. I like that Salman is legit awesome in this movie, it’s completely reasonable for Kajol to think it’s a good idea to marry him without loving him. He loves her, he loves her mom, he’s charming and nice and funny and makes her laugh. I’d marry him!

  12. Whoops I thought you said midnight Chicago time, so I’m just joining now.

Can anyone say where we are right now, and I’ll fast forward.

  13. Random other thing I like, this movie has two different love triangles, and all of them involve people being decent and honorable and all around nice good options. Tina is great, and Salman is no less.
