Friday WatchAlong: OK Jaanu! Romance and Happiness!

Happy Friday! It’s time for a short happy fun sunny rom-com with great songs, and ARK. What could be better?

ARK! Shraddha, for her birthday! AR Rahman soundtrack! Mani Ratnam movie remake! All of these are good things, except maybe the last.

It’s on Prime and youtube, at 3pm I will put up an “And PLAY” comment and then we will just keep going along right here.

  1. HA! Look at that trope upheaval! They don’t have sex by accident, they don’t get pregnant, they don’t get caught by their fmaily relaly, there is no reason they “have” to get married or do anything they don’t want to do.

  2. I think I want butter chicken for dinner. Butter chicken and Naan and Raita and Kheer and Pappad. I wonder if there is one place that will have all of them for me?

  3. This is the only song from the soundtrack that I think is actually better in Hindi. Which is more a complement to this song than an insult to the Hindi soundtrack. Rahman wrote for Tamil lyrics originally, of course thsoe would be better.

  4. Okay, Delhi Darbar Kabob House came through for me! I had to substitute Badam Halwa for Kheer, but I was able to get dessert, lassi, butter chicken, and pappad. Thank goodness!
