Normally I let you have opinions, but Doosra Aadmi is so great, and it just hit einthusan, so you will really REALLY have to fight me on this.
Saturday! 8:30am (instead of our usual 7:30am)!!!!! And brace yourself for a shock, FilmiKudhi will be watching with me IN PERSON. I am picturing us both sitting in the same room typing on our laptops and ignoring each other. Or else me typing “FilmiKudhi says….” every other comment.
And also, Doosra Aadmi! It’s on Prime and einthusan, but we will be watching The Einthusan Version. I know einthusan can be cranky, but Prime isn’t available everywhere for everybody, and there is a 5 minute difference between the two so I need to be sure we sync up.
Or else not Doosra Aadmi? Does anyone have a strong reason we should not watch a Shashi-Rishi-Neetu-Raakhee movie about an older woman/younger man love affair?

I will watch this but be ready for me to be really annoyed at Rishi A LOT! This is another movie, like Chalte Chalte, where I love Neetu’s penultimate scene but get really frustrated with the end. Actually now that I think about it, there are a lot of similarities between this movie and Chalte Chalte.
I do appreciate YRF pushing the envelope with some unconventional themes. I also think this is a movie where Rishi just gets to be himself. If someone asked me to describe Rishi’s personality I would point them to this movie: charming, impetuous, chauvinistic, emotional, unapologetic, adamant.

I think the only rule of Blog-watch-along is “don’t talk about blog watchalong”. Or else, “hit play at the same time or else your comments are nonsense”. But also, don’t talk about it. No one needs to know how much time we spend considering butt shape and other important analytical details.

Of course no one needs to know what we write, because they can just read it themselves! The permanence of WordPress with all it’s butt comments is quite fun. I can go back and read the comments and it is like watching the whole movie again, except it only takes 10 minutes.
