It’s DECEMBER! Which means ADVENT CALENDARS!!!! And also, family competition.
My sister taught my nephew to say “Merry Christmas” before he gets to have his Advent Calendar treat, AND to recognize the numbers, AND to open the little door (with help).
Albie Dog can’t do ANY of that. And I am trying!!! I am patient! And yet, no. He does nothing. See????
Dumb Dog
Albie is cheering me up! And I need cheering up! So thank you Albie, for not recognizing numbers or opening doors!

He’s so DUMB!!!! But, as my father points out, he can lick his nose with his tongue. Which is more than I can do.

So if I got a dog, what excuse would he have? I practiced very hard as a kid and can now reach my nose with my tongue.

Oh dear. I think you’d just have to get a much smarter dog.

He is DUMB! I bet your son can say “Merry Christmas”, and find the numbers on the Advent calendar, and open the doors himself.

He is so cute! And when he licks his nose with his tongue he reminds me of my dog!! She does the same thing when she wants food from me! I miss her so much 😦

as cute as he is, this just reinforces my belief that children are superior to dogs.

I bet your kids were saying “Merry Christmas” on command before they were 3!

Aw, Albie.
This is the first year we’ve had candy advent calendars, and while it has not increased the Merry Christmas wishing, by golly they do know exactly what day it is and they did not miss December 1.

They are learning NUMBERS. It’s educational.
