Hi! Sorry! Forgot to write this post last night so hurrying it out before the actual start time.
Pushpa! On Prime! Watch it with me! I’ll put up an “and PLAY” comment at 7:30am and we will go from there.

Okay, not defending the rapist, that was someone else I can’t recognize.

Kinda funny that the guy whose razor blade brother-in-law murdered people is the one warning of death toll.

Doesn’t break character even to dance. That belly!

YES!!!! Because he wouldn’t have a gym body, and wealth would come with a weight gain.

He got into better shape for the clothes-less scene though. Coming later.

I would like to point out that crime helped Pushpa become a big man, BUT most of the people he started with are dead.

So unless you have magical super powers, you should not go into crime?

I F$@#! LOVE this bald cop!! He is such an effeminate bad-ass!

Fahad Faazil!!!! big BIG deal actor in the Malayalam industry, there was a lot of discussion about how cool it was that he would be in this movie, and that he would lower himself to playing the antagonist.
Also, you have to watch him in Kumbalangi Nights.

11yo is concerned for the dog.

I am also concerned for the dog. But so far the movie has not harmed any dogs, so I think we are okay.

I’m sure they said no animals were hurt during filming in the opening credits, but I also bet they ate food with meat in it so kinda a load of baloney.

Okay – I gotta get the family ready for an ice-skating adventure that has to happen AM before it heats up. So just know that I think AA looks best naked. At least in this movie with it’s terrible clothes and surplus of hair.

Normally this is the point I would relax because there is only 20 minutes left, so one more fight and a happy ending. But it’s PART 1!!!! So anything could happen at this point!

Oooooo, so the imported brand names are the same as having an official surname!!!! Pushpa is natural and original, like the wood he exports.

Good stuff.

Flexing a brand name like a surname, dang. Appreciating the writing.

Hmmmm, I don’t believe Pushpa is really scared. I’m going for, he’s waiting until the marriage is over before he plays tough.

Oh man, he’s still angry about that I guess.

So for part 2, we have the new antagonist, the feud with the rapist, and his family thing. I strongly suspect the sweet little teenage girl at his brother’s house is gonna be a plot point.

Yes, nice setup. I will watch it. Want more Rashmika, though. They better give her something to do.

I thought it was just my fuse, but no, power company says 1,000 homes affected. Oh well, I am sure they are doing their best.

Boo! Stay warm.
If it makes you feel better, my husband left our little woodburning stove open when he went down to dinner last night, and a chunk of wood fell out and burned a hole through my best rug and left scorch marks on the floor. The house still smells like smoke.

I think it’s just one of those days. After the power went out, I also drove around and around the block trying to find a parking space and ended up being 10 minutes late instead of 5 minutes early to my massage. And then I got stuck in a massive traffic jam on the way home because of a fender bender. Everything worked out, no harm done, just little irritations.
