First Valentine’s Bracket Post!!! BEST JODIS!!!!! ROUND ONE!

Woot! I’m pumped! This is gonna be SO HARD to put together! And also, SO FUN!!! For me to write, and then for you to vote on. And maybe I will actually finally figure out how to do the poll thingies. Although honestly, I enjoy reading comments more!

I’m doing fictional couples, so to be fair, you can only consider the jodi in isolation in the one film selected!

Also, to be fair, you can’t yell at me for forgetting a couple! I’M SORRY! I’m not a MACHINE!!!! But also, I still haven’t finished my lists for the “best song” and “best scene” and “best love story” posts, so you can put more suggestions there.

ALSO! YOU HAVE TO FILL IN EVERY BRACKET!!!! Just pick based on photo if you have to 🙂

  3. OK here goes.

1 Bahubali and Devasena. Soft spot for warrior women.
2 Rahul and Anjali. The charades, the gazebo.
3 Arjun and Laila. More likely to get their HEA. Plus tomatoes.
4 Harry and Sejal. Heavyweight contender for the championship.
5 Aditya and Feet. For me, another heavyweight contender.
6 Jai and Radha. Haven’t seen Yes Boss, always up for Amitabh And Jaya.
7 Ranveer and Deepika. Hopefully their real life is 1000 times less complicated than in the movie.
8 Orem and Nisha, only because I haven’t seen Koode.
9 Veru and Basanti. They’re just the best.
10 Bunty and Babli win on disguises.

Now, with ten you’re going to have a hard time in the next round because you’ll have an odd number. Maybe introduce a wild card?

Hardest for me in this round was War vs ZNMD. I wanted to vote for Kabir and Khalid but their ending is too sad.

      • Not fair they are in a bracket with Harry and Sejal. I was scrolling the post, and when I saw Harry&Sejal I thought: Oh the best pair, I don’t know who the other couple is, but can’t be better. And then I saw it’s Pooja and Giri!

  7. 1. Kunal-Sam (…I never saw Bahubali)
    2. Rahul-Anjali
    3. Kabir-Khalid

    6. Jai-Radha
    7. Ranveer-Deepika
    8. Prem-Nisha
    9. Veeru-Basanti
    10. Bunty-Babli

The hard one for me was Jai-Radha vs. Rahul-Seema. The latter are definitely more of a proper jodi, and not, you know, playing the harmonica about somebody from afar. I’m a sucker for hopeless longing, though, so Jai-Radha it must be.

    3. This is so hard for me!!! But I think Arjun and Laila because they are both still alive. Come on War 2, prove me wrong!
    4. Harry and Sejal
    5. Aditya and Geet I think. I’m meh on both of these couples.
    6. Rahul and Seema. I have to pick Juhi!
    7. This is also really really hard for me. I love them both. But maybe Humpty and Kavya using the same logic as number 3. I could easily be convinced otherwise on this one.
    8. Prem Nisha
    9. Abhi and Rohan. TownandTulips influenced my decision!
    10. Tiger and Zoya.

    8. Haven’t seen either, but based on photos, I’m going Prem and Nisha

    1. Bahubali/Devasena
    2. Raj/Simran
    3. Kabir/Khalid
    4. Harry/Sejal
    5. Ranbi/Vidya: You guys! I love JWM as much as the next person, but Raj and Nargis invented walking together in the rain!
    6. Jai/Radha. Their love was so beautiful and pure and I will never forget her slowly closing the shutters.
    7. Ranveer and Deepika in the movie that started their real-life special forever love!
    8. Oh my God, Joshua and Sophie. I want to watch this again.
    9. Veeru/Basanti in the other movie that started their real-life special forever love!
    10. Bunty aur Babli!

Hardest: Jab We Met vs. Shree 420. As you can see, I took the historical perspective.

  15. Like Miss Braanza I hope that I’m not too late…
    My votes:
1 – Kunal + Sam (just love these too together!)
2 – Raj + Simran (tough choice but I prefer the development of DDLJ love story in comparison with the two-parts-one of KKHH)
3 – Arjun + Laila (did like the viril one, too, but three men couples would be too much…)
4 – Harry + Sejal (would like them to win)
    5 – Ranbir + Vidya (the first Raj-Nargis movie I watched…love on first sight from my side 😉 )
6 – Jai + Radha (my hardest to pick because I love Juhi + SRK in Yes Boss so much, but that would have made three times SRK… although I also would like Suri + Taani as wild card…)
7 – Ranveer + Deepika (their best movie together, imo)
8 – Joshua + Sophie (no doubt, although I loved the Marathi-movie more)
9 – Abhi + Rohan (KJo has a knack for lovable man-man pairing)
10 – Bunty + Babli (a strong contender for the last round, I think)

    10. Tiger and Zoya

And now I’m dizzy from so much up and down scrolling.
