  1. 1. DDLJ
    2. JHMS
    3. Lootera by a country mile
    4. Bobby. I haven’t seen it but Humpty Sharma has been wiped from my memory so it can’t have been that good.
    5. Mili
    6. QSQT
    7. Aiyyaa
    8. This was sooooo haaaarrrrd. I just don’t know who I’d rather see die slowly. I guess I’ll go with Sanam Teri Kasam since it’s definitely less problematic.
    9. BBB
    10. Again, so hard! I think Kabhi Kabhie because OK Kammani doesn’t have Rishi Kapoor doing a standing jump onto a horse.

    • HA! My evil plan WORKED!!! I figured, the people who like Devdas will probably like Sanam Tere Kasam more.

Also, thank goodness someone voted for Mili, it is such a sweet love story and I am worried not enough readers have seen it/can appreciate it.

  4. 1. DDLJ
    2. KKHH
    3. Jodhaa-Akbar (I hate Lootera so Jodhaa Akbar gets the automatic pick)
    4. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania
    5. Maine Pyar Kiya
    6. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (I haven’t seen either but QSQT get’s the pick because I like the Papa Kehte Hain song)
    7. Ohm Shaanthi Oshaana
    8. Devdas (Haven’t seen either so Shahrukh gets a win)
    9. Saathiya/Alai Payuthay
    10. OK Kanmani/OK Jaanu (I’m not a huge fan of Ok Kanmani but Mani Ratnam gets my vote since I haven’t seen Kabhi Kabhie)

  7. I should be a little ashamed because I call myself a romance fan but I haven’t seen many of the contestants.

    1. Jab We Met
    2. JHMS
    3. Lootera
    4. I have seen Humpty Sharma but didn’t like it much so Bobby. I haven’t seen Bobby but the fact that we are still talking about it almost 50 years after the release says a lot.
    5. Haven’t seen neither but Maine Pyaar Kiya
    6. Again, haven’t seen but QSQT because it made history
    7. Ohm Shanti Oshaana of course
    8. Sanam Teri Kasam of course
    9. Saathiya/Alai Payuthay
    10. OK Kanmani/OK Jaanu

    3. “Jodhaa-Akbar”
    4. “Bobby”
    5. “Mili”
    6. “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”
    7. “Aiyya”
    8. “Devdas” but, like, the platonic ideal of the Devdas narrative rather than SLB’s specific realization of it
    9. “Saathiya”
    10. “Kabhi Kabhie”

    • Aha! But you can’t choose the ideal Devdas! Because the ideal Devdas story is NOT a love story, only the Bhansali version is a love story. I thought this through!!!!

      • You can’t count my vote as being for the ideal Devdas, but I can count it that way in my heart, and that’s all that matters ( ; Also, I just don’t care enough about “Sanam Teri Kasam” to have an alternative opinion.

  10. 1. DDLJ (although, ow. A bit of a difficult choice if you look at JUST plot and cleverness.)
    2. JHMS
    3. Jodha-Akbar…I think (I like the story! Not so much the exact portrayal. But this and thinking of Mughal-e-Azam as its sequel, yep, it works.)
    4. Humpty
    5. Mili
    6. QSQT
    7. OSO, even though I haven’t seen it. It seems nice!
    8. Devdas. I can’t believe you’ve made me vote Devdas for something. *grumble grumble*
    9. Saathiya
    10. Kabhi Kabhie (but who is the true love story here? Is it Amitabh/Rakhee, Amitabh/Waheeda, Rakhee/Shashi, Rishi/Neetu? Either way, KK wins. Also I just realized I’d have loved to see Rakhee in a tawaif movie!)

    • Rakhee Shashi! DUH! Any Shashi movie, it’s always the Shashi love story. Also, they are the only decent people/couple in the whole film.
