Yes! I have decided with my own great power that we are watching 1942. You can rent it for a small amount on youtube, and I just plain like it! And I haven’t watched it in WAY too long.
1942 A Love Story!!! It’s ridiculously patriotic in a harmless way (who doesn’t hate the British, right?) and it has Jackie Shroff, and Anil Kapoor, and Danny Denzongpa, so really someone for every taste. Also, RD Burman’s last soundtrack, sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
At 9am Sunday (I’m doing later than usual in the morning, because it’s Sunday) I will put up an “And PLAY” comment. And then we will comment along from there! Trust me, you’ll like it. Unless you are some kind of monster who loves the British and hates Anil Kapoor.

ah the dilemma of buying or renting! Only $3 to rent, but only $5 to buy. Thinking of the TV we will soon have I am buying. (One came in the mail already, but it was cracked, so we await a replacement now – so now I watch on an 11 inch screen dreaming of the 75 inches to come!)

Totally worth buying!!! Such a fun over the top movie. And it will teach the boys about History.
