Thank you for the suggestion Angie!!! It’s been a very weird week for me, lots of work stuff and lots of weird errands (I had to take my sewing machine in to be repaired at a very strange show that is only open 6 hours a day), so a nice watchalong with the nice people sounds just about right.
Shakuntala
It’s a classic of Indian literature, another variation on the “Man rejects pregnant wife because of Magic” story that appears in every culture. Shakuntala is a magical beautiful wood dwelling innocent, Prince falls in love and marries her in the forest and tells her to come to his palace. She follows but because of curses and things, he does not recognize her when she arrives. She takes off in fury declaring he doesn’t deserve her, and then of course he does remember her and is heartbroken and regretful. Years later, he meets their child and the young boy reunites his parents.

This new movie looks very fairy tale and pretty and also silly and over the top. So, great watchalong choice!!!
Who is available Saturday or Sunday morning? For a very last minute watchalong?

The weather is supposed to be terrible all weekend so I think I will be home and can join.

TELL ME NOW! And I can watch along on Saturday – but NOW. Because I’m going to bed and would have to set my alarm.

Sorry everyone. Husband’s out of town this weekend so it’s just me Mr. Toddles!
Ooh but Angie — we will be in Italy starting next weekend. We will be visiting Milan, Portofino, Cinque Terre, Lake Garda, and Verona. I will take any recommendations and tips on traveling with a very very active and fussy toddler.

Oh, what a fantastic holiday! I can’t give any specific recommendations unfortunately because I’ve never been there. I only know Sicily and Rome (a little). But don’t worry, everything will be ok. Those places are very touristic, and used to travelers with children and Italians love kids.

Thank you. It’s work/holiday. The global headquarters of my company is in Milan. I am really excited (and a bit scared of traveling with our crazy toddler). It will be my first trip to Italy.
