Yaaaaaaaaaaay! It’s early, it’s chilly, I’m ready to make fun of SRK! Oh, and because it is SO early, if no one joins within 15 minutes, I’ll call it and let it go.
Guddu! Available for rent on all major services! And, hopefully, now the complete version with the full ending.
In a few minutes at 7am I will put up an “and PLAY” comment and we will all go from there.

If I didn’t know about the stigma of being a widow his reluctance would make no sense at all. If they were American it would be “Hell yes! Lets get married and have lots of sex before you die.”

And then in a romance novel it would turn out to be a misdiagnosis and there’d be this whole “oh no! we are falling in love after marriage”

We read that book, where THIS was the plot. She thought she was dying so he agreed to live with her and then he fell in love with her and thank goodness, she DIDN’T die. It was actually a good book.

Okay, the two lead singers here are big deal comic actors. So they agreed to be in this movie, just to pretend to be Qawwali singers? This is very odd.

It must be the friendly vibe. That must be what the director was going for. Trying to make the whole thing less forboding?

FYI, Hinduism is usually interpreted as forbidding transplants. So finding donors and breaking that social taboo is a Big Deal in India. This whole ridiculous plot does have that grain of sincere desire to spread awareness.

YES! I find it very confusing, but maybe the movie is saying “look, devout Mom is good with organ donation, devout people can be into it”?
