Happy New Year! No Viewing Today Because We All Have Friends and Family And Things, Yaaaaaaaaaaay!

New Years Day falling on a three day weekend seems to have made it even MORE likely that everyone has plans. As do I! My plans are, to recover from my very late night last night! Well, late for me. Not actually that late.

I invited a couple of my oldest friends over to check out my new Christmas board games. The Chicago theme one was FAR too complicated to understand, but the Bollywood one turned out to be BRILLIANT. And addictive, we took a 3 minute break to celebrate midnight and then were back to it. Bollywood 5 Stars, available many places, highly recommend.

Also recommend, if you think your horn may be broken on your car (as do I), New Years Eve is a great chance to test it! Turns out, it works on the left side but not the right side. So I just need to always hit it on the left.

Anyway, after New Years happened, we had to go back in and finish our game, and then decompress from the competition with puppy videos, and then I drove them home, and when it was all over I got home at 1:30am and I am very tired.

My three goals for today: Laundry, putting the Xmas tree in the alley, and re-writing Dunki. Besides that, NOTHING.

    • I always post on the blog a few days before and then again a day before and finally day of, when there is a watchalong. the only confusing thing is, if the first post doesn’t get any traction, no one is interested/available, then it doesn’t happen.

  3. I watched Wanted in the evening. I rewatched Pride and Prejudice 1995 which is so GOOD and I want to watch it again but it would be overkill if I do that. So I want to buy an edition of the book since the edition I have is pretty bad.

    • P&P 1995 is SO GOOD! Still the definitive version for me. Although I have to recommend the 2005 movie also! very different, but still very swoony.

      • I watched the movie 2 days before which I’ve also watched umpteenth times. I’m reading the book right now along with Possession by AS Byatt which is so BORING (not pride&prejudice, I’m talking about Possession). So I’m fully on the pride and prejudice life
