Monday Afternoon Questions: What Do You Want to Ask Me the Last Week of September?

Happy Monday! I have now organized my apartment from the front wall to about 20 feet back, including the living room, front hall, and front closet!. Next step, my bedroom and the guest room! Just gonna keep moving backwards until I’ve covered the whole space.

Here is where you ask me anything you want from “how was the Crew watchalong?” to “what music do you listen to while cleaning?” Just keep swinging back here all week as you think of new questions!

Now, question for you! My coworkers feel the need to throw me a party (in addition to the party I threw myself on my last day). And, because they know me, they have realized what I would most enjoy is a movie night. So, what movie do I show as my Leaving the Job big grand finale movie???

I’m torn between Crew (because it’s thematic), and Om Shanti Om (because it is a Big Exciting Film). Or, I guess, I could also do Jawan? Just because it’s gooooooooooooooooooood?

  1. I’m thinking about how stressful college applications are. I’ve worked so hard these last four years, but was it enough? I’ve had that thought running through my head for the last few days. I hope to get some advice to be honest.

Watching movies has helped. I rewatched Veer Zaara which was nice. Mainly because I could cry without feeling like weird and baby like. I know that crying is natural but it’s still been hard.

On the bright side, I’m excited the NFL season restarted, and even more excited that my favorite artist of all time Kendrick Lamar is performing the halftime show this year at the Super Bowl. I have that to look forward too.

Sorry about this being long. Also I think you should watch Om Shanti Om. Mainly cause it’s such a fun movie. I love it so much and it’s just silly in a good way.

    • College apps are so stressful! But ultimately, it will all work out. Any college experience is a good experience, there’s no one perfect place no matter how it feels now.

Crying is super healthy and you were so smart to find a way to make it happen!
