The beauty of Indian film music at work is that the different language in the lyrics means it’s easier to blank out instead of accidentally typing them into an email while you listen.
And the beauty of music while doing data entry is it makes you faster! And happier.
Currently I’m using the Gully Boy soundtrack, any other suggestions for me? Peppy, happy, fast, non-English?

Hi, Margaret! It was so amazing to see you last month! For high energy music I like to listen to a Korean EDM band called Idiotape. Their songs are mostly without lyrics. I like their older album called 11111101. I also like a J-rock band called Asian Kung Fu Generation (AKG for short). They remind me of later Beatles or Beatles-inspired groups like Oasis. Their album Best Hit AKG has a lot of my favorites on it. For a quieter vibe Studio Ghibli instrumentals or lo-fi YouTube channels are nice. Best wishes for your new gig!

Dil Se album. I know its not happy exactly but its one of the greatest Hindi film albums of all times, maybe one of the greatest in the world.

My local theater is showing RRR again (to whip everyone up for Devara, which is next week), so I’m thinking that soundtrack. At some parts you’ll be slowly and majestically be doing data entry and then at some parts you’ll invoke the goddess of the forest and do data entry in a heroic fashion and then you’ll be doing it as fast possible until your hands cramp.
