Honestly, the photo is the reason I am doing the post. The Salman news is technically more newsworthy, but the photo is swoony.
A friend sent me this, and I immediately forwarded it to everyone I know. And then I thought “how selfish! I should make sure all my blog readers see it as well!” So, here is what John Abraham instagrammed this morning.
Personally, I find the little touch of bed hair the sexiest part. And also, I really want pakoras now. And the things on display between the hair and the pakoras are nice too.
Secondly, now that Salman’s Black Buck poaching case is sort of settled, all of a sudden a witness has appeared! His driver, Harish Dulani, has suddenly popped up to issue statements to the media saying that he witnessed the shooting and would be happy to testify in court. Of course, he didn’t actually testify in court, which is probably a big part of why Salman was acquitted. And now it is too late (unless the prosecution decides to appeal). And just in case the prosecution does decide to appeal, I bet the driver will suddenly disappear again, and only pop up after it is all over to offer more quotes to the media. I mean, I have no idea whether or not he is telling the truth, but it looks pretty clear that either he himself, or the prosecutors, aren’t terribly interested in making sure he is around to tell the truth in court.

The driver testified in one case, left before he could be cross-examined, and “couldn’t be found” to testify in the other case. Also he gave an interview to a major paper around 2003 or so that Salman *didn’t* kill the deer (sorry, I can’t remember its name). Further, in his sworn testimony in court, he said that he dropped off all the actors at their hotel and then went home, and didn’t drive them into the forest (Salman supposedly did that), but that he was an “eyewitness” to the poaching. Yeah, any time a witness doesn’t testify in court, but does testify in the papers, I have a hard time believing them.

As for your “swoon-worthy” photo, when I first discovered the new edition of Bollywood in 2001, I was quite enamored of all the sculpted bodies, but now I just find them tiresome and unreal. 😦 While I can admire a set of abs, I really dislike this inflated looking breasts on all the men. It’s so clear they’re taking some muscle enhancing supplements, and I worry about the long-term effects on their health. Plus, they all look the same now. Sorry for raining on your parade, but that was honestly my first reaction, and I used to like John’s physique when he first started.
