Don’t feel limited! If there are remarkable social media posts you feel I am missing, then throw them into the mix in the comments.Continue reading
Happy Varun Week! What a delightful celebration we shall have. Thank goodness Varun’s filmography is almost 100% light and happy. Not necessarily “good”, but definitely light.Continue reading
Happy birthday John Abraham! You bring so much joy to the world in so many ways, let us all celebrate!Continue reading
Happy Monday! I have the annual quilting potluck and white elephant gift exchange tonight, and I have no idea what food to bring. Oh well, this is what grocery store deli sections are for.Continue reading
Well, this was a silly silly movie! I feel kind of silly putting up a “spoiler” review, because it is hardly worth spoiling. But what the heck, might as well.Continue reading
Boy was that a fun movie going experience! Sold out theater, everyone laughing, and complete utter entertaining stupidity.Continue reading
This is a movie that is endlessly enjoyable, if you don’t expect it to be realistic. Or logical. Or smart. It’s just Fun.Continue reading
Pretty sure this is feminist and empowering and not, you know, bad. But even if it is bad, sometimes it’s good to be bad.Continue reading
I’ve known about this movie for years and years and years, since college, but I had no idea how good it was. I wish I’d watched it ages ago! And I encourage all of you to see it.Continue reading
Okay, I’m gonna be lazy and just use the stuff that came up in the comments of the discussion post asking for topics early this week.Continue reading
This is the News Round-Up post I was going to put up yesterday, but then I did a silly TGIF instead. But now we can talk about it all Saturday! And I can do a bunch of tiny Saturday reports on news stories that aren’t important enough for a real post!Continue reading
This is a very silly, very fun, very stupid movie. It may not be as brilliant and complex as some other films, but by golly the time just flies by while you are watching it! Oh, and this review needs some formatting fixes, I’ll do it soon, I just want to throw it up quick now before I take the dog for a walk.Continue reading
Okay, how can I say this classily? There is a certain kind of pose which seems to say “yes, climb on top of me and enjoy yourself”. That is the kind of pose that I am looking for this week. You know, so you can pretend you are kneeling on top of them throwing rose petals or something in a chaste and romantic manner.
Happy Saturday! I woke up way too early and am trying to go back to sleep. But you folks can chat while I sleep (hopefully).
Happy Saturday! My sister is in town and, after spending the week with my parents, now we are having Sister Weekend. Which mostly means watching movies. Maybe a trip to the grocery store.
Well, this is the gossip cycle that will never end. I don’t know why I am surprised, this is how it happens, right? The gossip comes out, and then everyone reacts to it, and then everyone reacts to the reactions. And I am part of the problem, because it is just barely on the line of affecting the industry and the big messages of stuff so I feel like I should talk about it. Oh, and also Pa Ranjith might make a Hindi film, yaaaaay!
I think maybe I should just accept that Tuesdays will always be horrible. After last week’s terrible Tuesday, I’m having another “can’t think straight because so much is happening” day at work. So I am going to be lazy and do a post just for Angie, National Police Day in Poland. Well, Angie and all of us who enjoy attractive movie stars in police uniform.
Happy Sunday! I have to go lead a meeting at church in a bit, but first I get to be totally frivolous and ridiculous with the Silly Sunday stories. Hopefully I don’t mix this up with my meeting agenda and accidentally start reading it aloud.
National Ice Cream Day is actually Sunday (ooo! FanFic theme?), but I am stealing it for today for TGIF. Because I love those “what food is your favorite star?” kind of posts!
The beauty of this movie, is that I can write about it very quickly. Because it is not worth a lot of words. The other beauty of this movie, is that 2 of the most attractive men in Indian film are in it, and also Rahul Khanna. And the third beauty of this movie is that it is smart enough to know how dumb it is. The best kind of dumb movie. And anyway, I have a semi-tradition of writing about bad movies on Friday the 13th.
None of this are super super exciting, but they fill out the day, so why not talk about them? Also, I want to vent about the Fanney Khan song.
It’s hot, the week isn’t over yet, and I am trying to avoid starting Sacred Games (it’s just SO BIG. I’m hoping if I carry it around with me everywhere, I can read it by osmosis). So, let’s have a totally frivolous and silly discussion!
Boy, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these! Rest assured, I have been reading the headlines and stuff all along, I just haven’t been writing about them.
4 movies to talk about! In various stages, one a trailer, one a second song, one an announcement, and one starting to film. And I am interested in ALL of them!!!!
