Bharat Trailer! Salman May Have Actually Made a Good Movie

Wow. I actually got a little teary-eyed at a Salman Khan movie trailer. I’m stunned!

TGIF: Stars as Easter Eggs in the Tall Grass

I wanted to do stars dressed as bunny rabbits, but there are shockingly few images of that. So instead I will settle for stars dropped around the grass like little Easter eggs. Can you find them all????

Notebook Review (SPOILERS): A Love Story That Starts With Forgiveness and Ends With Hope

Loved this movie! The more I think about it, the more I like it. Really, you should watch it. Don’t expect groundbreaking brilliance, but if you want sweet happy little stories, this would be it. And if you can see it, avoid this review and read the no spoilers review instead.

Notebook Review (No Spoilers): A Lovely Happy Hopeful Little film

What a nice good movie! I am really sorry that nobody will be watching it. It was only playing at 2pm and 10pm at my theater yesterday, and only 11am and 5pm today. I went to the 11am show and got a private screening. Stupid distributors/producers messed up the promotions and release! But I am here to tell you, it’s a super good movie and you should make an effort to see it, even if no one else seems to care.

A Dozen Salman Khan Films Outside the Standard List

This is HARD! Salman’s filmography is so vast, and the “standard list” so small, that almost everything he made falls outside of it. Especially the way he reinvents himself every few years making his “standard” films a complete different collection. Anyway, I look forward to lively discussion as we all fight about where Lucky: No Time for Love should be!

Sunday ReRun Jaan-E-Mann: My Favorite Movie That No One Else Likes

This is I think the first serious review I wrote. Back when no one was reading me. So I am reposting it so you can enjoy it now. And also because it’s December and no one much is reading, so I might as well put up a review that I’ve already posted twice.

Saturday Small Talk: Which of These Stories Surprises You LEAST?

Happy Saturday!  Today is the day I do NOTHING.  I am very excited about this.  Of course, Dog Hazel will still drag me outside for our daily walks, and I should probably buy milk, but otherwise NOTHING.  And you can join me in my nothing by lazily talking about gossip stories.

Silly Sunday: The Godfather with The Three Khans and Shahrukh as the Hero

Raajneeti, Sarkar, and the original film, I have been on a bit of a Godfather binge (I also rewatched 1 and 2 over the past couple days).  So now the inevitable final step, writing my own version.

News Update: Salman on PC, and Shahid Does Prabhudeva

This is it, right?  This has got to be the end of the Priyanka Chopra story, since PC refuses to give a statement herself, that means Salman’s version becomes definitive and now we are done?  Please please say we are done!  Oh, and if you don’t care about PC, it is possible this other news story will get you very excited (angry maybe?).

News Round-Up: Hrithik Will Dance, Salman Will Circus, and Priyanka Will Promote Herself

It was so nice not reporting Priyanka news for years and years.  But now she is back and I can’t escape her.  And I really don’t like it, because it makes me sound a little mean and a lot crazy, but on the other hand, it is what it is and this is the only way to interpret it.  Other stuff is more interesting though, so I can talk lots and lots about that and little little about PC.
