Happy International Beer Day! Drinking Songs!

What an odd holiday!  But kind of a fun one to find songs for, right?  Ideally they would all be beer songs, but I don’t know if that is possible.

This was the very first thing that came to mind when I thought “beer song”.  It has such a German beer hall feel to it, doesn’t it?

I strongly suspect they are not drinking beer in this one, but something a lot stronger.  Although the way they are guzzling it, beer would seem logical.  But probably not.

Definitely not beer here either.  Although, again, IT SHOULD BE!

It is beer here, at least mostly.  Thank goodness because I doubt Kangana’s character could handle anything stronger.

A whole song in honor of being drunk.

And finally Amitabh, Master of the Drunk Song

Okay, what did I miss?  And no fair putting in a Bhang song, save those for 4/20!

    • Ooo, that is an excellent one! A very “alcohol makes everyone happy and smooths over all relationship issues” one.

  1. You know who owns a beer company in Bollywood? Danny Denzongpa. He made some interesting decisions to lead his life just the way he wants to.Whoever heard of a Bollywood actor who spends his summer playing flutes in the summer, for God’s sake?

      • Are there many Danny songs? He didn’t do many films as solo hero or second fiddle before graduating to villain roles. It was a crime they made him grey up and play father roles much before his time.I can only remember the faux western Kala Sona where he played the Mexican/Native American character pursued by his boss’s daughter Farida Jalal. He does have a good singing voice.
